Super easy to install. Popped the shifter cover off (I start at the bottom) with the tool supplied. Unplugged the existing wire, added the adapter and popped the cover back on… 1 minute and done. Works exactly as described. A+

Was easy to install and it worked right away. No more pushing the button to turn off that annoying engine stop feature. One word of advice….to remove the Honda harness plug from the switch assembly you need to depress the locking latch on the connector plug. Don’t force it, you may break the plastic.

I watched videos ahead of time, to ensure I knew what to expect.
Popped open the bezel around the shifter, unplugged the connector.
This was the hardest part, finding the super easy push latch to disconnect.
Plugged the device in, and 3 minutes later done.
Tested the function by starting the car, and automatically turns off the start/stop.

Did not come with instructions in English, but included a plastic pry tool to install. Very easy to install. If you’re not sure search YouTube for examples. Installed in 5 minutes and WORKS to eliminate the worst feature ever created by mankind; this is what happens when the US government influences car makers. Now when you start the car, the automatic engine stop feature is DISABLED by default. And the toggle switch still works if for some reason you want to turn it back on.

Installed in a few minutes and it works great. No tools needed. Grab the bottom on the plastic housing that the switch is installed with, lift up, and reach under to unplug from the switch. Plug the wire into the adapter, drop it down into the dash area and plug the other end into the switch. Push the cover back down to lock into place. It took longer to type this than complete the process.

An inexpensive solution to an annoying problem! I didn’t use the included pry tool I popped of the trim panel off from the bottom, found the correct connector on the right side, plugged this cable in and bridged that connector to the other end of the auto stop switch. Snap the panel back in place and was done.

If you want Longevity out the starter on your crv and to stop oil dilution issues with your 1.5 Earthdreams then this is a great addition! Works flawless! And way cheaper then other overpriced gadgets that do the same thing!

Easy to install. Follow the easy to read directions and the annoying engine “engine off” at the stop light goes away.

Disables the auto start/stop feature when you start the car. Now you need to hit the button if you actually want the auto start/stop enabled.
Comes with a plastic pry tool that you use to lift the whole panel surrounding the shift lever (see photos). Unplug the cable from the auto stop button. Plug this cable extension into that cable and plug the other end into the auto stop switch. Snap the panel back in place and you’re done.

4/21/25 Installed the stop-start eliminator on my 2022 honda CRV. It works great,easy to install. I think it will pay for itself due to ware and tear on starter and battery.
