I bought this on January 2024 and their warranty is good for 1 year. It has been 1 year and 1 month and the mount is very loose and keeps swivelling my phone completely downward when driving over small bumps. It’s pretty much unusable at this point.
The included double sided sticker only worked for 4 months and I had to purchase additional stickers.
I contacted customer service and they just coldly said they aren’t able to help me since it’s out of warranty (by 1 month). I’ve already purchased two mounts and this will be my last. Don’t you love it when a company nails down the perfect planned obsolescence?

This is my second carmount. I have the other style, but I needed one like this one for driving and in meetings; this way, I can stay focused on the road. I have the bigger iPhone, and it holds it fabulously. It is a strong magnet. It doesn’t fall off; the only drawback is that it doesn’t work with a cover over the phone unless it is my cover whose material stops the magnet from working at full strength.

I have a loopy case which has a decent size finger loopy at the back side of the phone case. I have used carmount branded mounts before and they are great. I had trouble with a previous model due to placement of the magnet and limitations because of the large finger loop. However the phone case is great and not something I was willing to change it “stop the drop” which is their motto, and I really don’t drop my phone. This new phone mount works perfectly with the loopy case. I haven’t been able to find anything comparable to it. The mount includes to circular magnets that can be attached to a case or the magnet can stick directly to your phone if it’s magnetic, mine isn’t. I have a samsung galaxy s24. This mount solved all my previous challenges with my last carmount. I can rotate the mount fully so my phone can be vertical or horizontal. The very adjustable mount made it so i could put my phone in other places. It’s the perfect mount for someone who is using a loopy case it likely would fit with the pop cases as well. It’s truly well designed, has the strong magnet that carmount is known for. It’s a great product and I highly recommend it. Its improved my driving quality just because I can place my phone in a better location and out of the direct sunlight. So pleased this exists. Installation took about 5 minutes.

….it could have used a better range of adjusting. If you’re attaching this on a surface that faces front or sloped it’s perfect. If it’s atop the dash your phone will be slanted up and there’s almost no way around it. The previous car mount models require a metal plate that blocks all wireless charging and this makes everything work out perfect. The magnet strength is GREAT as carmount’s reputation has it. I wasn’t thrilled that the charging model required it to be on a vent mount though since the entire reason I even started using this brand was to NOT have my vents blocked.

This mount works great for my Apple iPhone 15 Pro. My phone case has the magnetic strip already on the outside and the magnet from the mount holds my phone solid. I underestimated the size of the mount’s base, hoping to adhere it on a flat surface near my LCD screen, but it was larger than I thought. Ended up placing it directly on top & in the center of my upper dash, and although not a smooth texture the strength of the included double sided tape works well. For my purposes, it works perfectly.
