I had high hopes for this product, since they are known for their floormats and other products. The phone holder is not made to holster an android phone. The cradle does not hold the phone securely. Other than that, the length of the arm was perfect for my scenario. They should really work on this design more and try again.

I have a 2018 Ford F-150. Have a dash cover so there isn’t much for options where to mount a cell phone holder. This hold works pretty good for me. Little bulky but works good. While driving it does wobble a bit. No big deal tho. Like it

The first generation of WeatherTech’s WindshieldFone Universal Windshield-Mounted Car Phone Holder was a bad design and numerous customers complained about the holder not staying put and falling off the windshield. I called their customer service and they said “we will send you the revised and updated version, free at no cost and no shipping charges.” They followed through with their promise. The second generation is working very well. HATS OFF TO GOOD OLD AMERICAN CUSTOMER SERVICE!! WAY TO GO WEATHERTECH!!!!

For me this is the best cell holder on the market. It was easy to set up for my car and does not vibrate the phone while driving. It positions the phone in the driving view, so you are not distracted by looking down. I bought another for my wife’s car. The one she had constantly vibrated and would fall out where it mounted. Very happy Weathertech offered these again!!!

I purchased a WeatherTech phone holder based on the company’s reputation and my previous negative experiences with Chinese-made holders whose suction cups go bad in a few months. Unfortunately, I have encountered several issues with the product.
Firstly, the design seems to be intended for flat dashboards only. It does not fit the curved dashboard of my CR-V well. To achieve a somewhat workable position and protect the dashboard with the rubber boot, the thinnest arm must be extended more than the middle one. This makes the holder flimsy and causes it to shake excessively with the weight of the phone, constantly dislodging the rubber boot.
Additionally, the phone holder itself is very inconvenient. Unlike other holders I’ve used, it is not self-adjusting. This means that the holder must be manually adjusted (using two hands to access the back screw) every time a different family member uses it. Removing the phone also requires two hands, as using the side lever with one hand simply pushes the phone out of the holder and onto the floor.
The only aspect of the product that has functioned as expected is the suction cup. However, when that inevitably fails, it will not be replaced with WeatherTech.

As with all the WeatherTech products I have purchased, this works just as advertised. It was rather difficult to find the exact location on the dash that worked for me, but I finally got it installed just right and I am happy with the installation and the function of the WindshieldFone. The suction cup attaches fiercely to the windshield and was difficult to move after I first applied it to the windshield. It holds my phone well and does not rattle while I am driving. My phone functions just fine, too while in the holder. Good purchase. I recommend it to anyone needing such a device.

Unlike vent mounted cell phone holders that can come off the vent unexpectedly or place the phone someplace where you have to take your eyes off the road. This cell phone holder secures to any windshield and with it adjustable length can be positioned so you can see the cell phone clearly and the road.

Product is made of cheap quality plastic. Definitely not what I expected for the price. Design is great. The placement can affect windshield vision with the suction cup and cellphone size in mind.
