Okay, so I had been putting off buying windshield wiper fluid for awhile. To the point that I was in a pinch and just added water to the reservoir in hopes to get me through until I could pick some up. Have you seen the cost of it at convenience stores?! Good grief! I noticed these on Amazon and thought it was a joke. Nope, they’re real, and I could get them quickly – in the cart they went.
I’m not sure why I thought they’d all be in one bag and was a bit disappointed that they’re individually wrapped. Here I thought I was going to save the planet by using less plastic and here they are in individually wrapped mylar packets. Well, okay, I’ll deal with it. I read the instructions and they were pretty straightforward – dissolve one tablet fully in container of water before adding to the wiper fluid reservoir. Simple. I had a small glass bottle, added water, popping in the tablet and let it dissolve while I got ready for work. Nice! I checked the reservoir and saw it wasn’t empty but not full so I added it the solutions and let it do its thing mixing with the water molecules already hanging out. I had to use my wipers many times that week and was pleased with the results of the addition. Now though it looks like it has become more concentrated as I noticed some of the fluid dries on the windshield where the wipers don’t reach. Nothing to panic over, of course, but it looks odd as there are blue spots on the upper outer edges of my windshield. As if mother nature decided to add color to the raindrops and they got stuck there.
Anyhow, the tablets are easy to use, convenient, and a breeze to store. I wish they were packaged differently, but I will use these until they’re gone because they do work well.

No Rain-X effect noted. Cannot say how it cleans bugs of mud, but was hoping for water resistance effect. So ended up buying Rain-X.

I bought the DOKIKO 50 Pcs Car Windshield Washer Fluid concentrate Tablets,Windshield Wiper Fluid,1 Pack because I’m tired of buying and storing jugs of washer fluid that I pay 3.00 + for. I live in Florida and we have bugs of all kinds, but love bugs are the worst. I also drive a lot so I use a lot of washer fluid. I got the 50 piece pack so now 16 cents a gallon.
I filled an empty 1 gallon washer jug with tap water and dropped a tab in. I checked in about 20 minutes and the tab wasn’t quite dissolved so I gave it a shake and let it set for another 30 minutes and it was completely dissolved. I gave it a shake and let it set on the bench for a couple of days, no sediment of any kind in the bottom of the jug at all. My truck washer low fluid light had been on for a couple of days so I added the gallon and it brought the tank up to nearly full. I’ve been using for about two weeks and it works great. I have not seen any residue left on or below the windshield.
If you have you have really hard water it may leave some hard water marks or spots, in which case you should use distilled water.. Also if you don’t use very much washer fluid, like only fill up yearly then you would likely be better to use distilled water. If I plan to drive to cold country when it’s likely to freeze I will add alcohol as I always do. You can’t usually find winter mix on the shelves in Florida until the season is about over…
It may not work for everyone but it works for me, and 16 cents vs 3.00 + makes sense to me.

Love these. Takes up less space, eco friendly, last forever but they’ll freeze in the winter.
They should include directions on what you can mix in to prevent freezing.

NOT for winter use. The fluid will freeze. I filled up a 2 liter soda bottle with water and dropped a tab in. I put it outside my front door and when I went to grab it in the morning, the bottle was frozen. Glad I found this out before putting it in the truck.
