Air suspensions for the rear hatch of my 2013 Subaru Outback were gone. Hatch was heavy to lift and didn’t hold it’s position. These were perfect fit. Arrived within 2 days from order and took less than 5 mins to install. Make sure you take a picture of the way it is set up prior to taking them apart. These are sold separately so make sure you get a left and right one because it makes a difference!

bought these to replace the rear liftgate struts on 2010-2014 Subaru Outback, and they work great. Easy to install, and very strong. You actually have to pull down kinda hard to get the liftgate closed, but they lift it up and keep it up really strong.

Purchased these for a fraction of the cost of OEM from the dealer. One side had all parts, while the other was missing nuts and the washer pad. Not a big deal as I could just reuse the bolts and washer pad from the old ones. So far the struts have functioned as expected, including in single digit temperatures. We shall see how long they hold up, but for a quick cheap fix for a falling hatch during cold weather, they have served the purpose.

I replaced the old struts on my 2013 Subaru Outback with these. They fit great. I only had one problem, and that was removing the strut from the bolt on the OLD struts, not these struts (I tried to pull the strut with the ball end off the bolt with the ball, I suggest not trying that at all and just unscrewing the bolt with the ball on the hatch).
I also suggest screwing in the new bolt with the ball that mounts to the door before pushing the strut onto it.
My one “complaint” is that the bolt with the ball that mounts to the door isn’t as thick as the OEM and isn’t as easy to get a wrench on. Also, no washers came with that bolt.
It definitely works though. Glad I bought t it.

What’s the point of this product? I purchased this to fix a problem and it doesn’t perform as advertised. The rear gate just closes and doesn’t stay up! It was also missing parts so I had to re-use old parts. Should be removed from the market. This company is just producing land waste making useless products.
