Clean the air vents and there will be no more dust and dirt on them, no more odors either. It obviously a better filter just by looking at it, the filter media and weight of the filter. It might slightly cut down on airflow as its denser. It fit perfectly, into the tough to get to slot, unlike the other stock type filters which crush and bunch up like an accordion. I’ve switched back and forth to compare between stock type filters and this fresh breeze and will never use stock again.

I’m embarrassed to admit I didn’t realize my car needed, or should I say had, a cabin air filter. The last time I got an oil change the guy offered to change it and not wanting to show my ignorance (and pay a hefty price), I told him I had just changed it. Then it was home and some internet searches and I realized how easy it would be to change it myself. I went with the FRAM because of the name and the reviews. It was very simple to change it (thank you YouTube). It went in really easy on my car and I could instantly tell the difference! I should post a picture of the old filter. What a mess. I almost put this one in the wrong way because the old one was a crumpled piece of cardboard and dirt. If you have a Saturn Ion it should be a piece of cake to change it out and it makes a world of difference!
