I purchased this rotor & pads set for my 2014 Toyota Tundra limited crew max. I chose these mostly because of the reasonable price, but also the brand reputation. The kit came with new slide pins and all new clips so your not reusing any old parts. They fit perfectly, just like OEM. My old rotors warped from pulling my camper, which is why I upgraded to drilled/slotted rotors. Under normal driving conditions they have merry my expectations. They might even be better than the stock setup and they’re very quiet. I haven’t pulled anything with them on yet so I can’t speak for stopping power under load. Based on performance so far, I have no reason to think they won’t perform well. I plan on upgrading the rears to drilled/slotted from this company when the time comes to replace them.
    I would recommend this product.

So, I can just say this; go on down to brake check and compare the price and quality. You can’t, don’t waste the time and fuel! This is the last stop (so to speak) towards an overall, vastly superior step up from stock, and at a fraction of the cost. Why would anyone needing new rotors go stock? This kit will not only have everything you need, it’s made in America, by Americans! Seriously, these rotors, coupled with the ceramic pads, add approximately 30% better stopping power over stock. In addition, they haven’t shown any signs of fade like the stock set up. This is due to the drilled and slotting of the rotor. It exhausts the gasses and heat that builds up and causes fading. Buy this set, YouTube on how to do the brake job (vehicle specific) and enjoy the confidence in knowing, when you have to stop, you can! The only negative, I only purchased the front. I can only imagine how much of an overall improvement would’ve been. Will be doing the rear brakes next.

Clean behind your rotors.. that’s all I can say before you install. These are awesome upgrade and brake and pad replacement for my 2016 Toyota Tundra Sr5. My previous rotors and pads have always been OEM. With these tundras there is a huge flaw in the brakes. If you don’t clean or smooth surface behind the rotor on the lug plate your rotors will warp! I’ve replaced rotors 3 times with this truCk and all because of this issue. I am hoping these rotors will be great now that I actually took the time to clean and scrap behind the rotors. The hardiest part of the install is pushing the caliber pistons back in. Using a clamp worked but took the most time. This kit is awesome it comes with all the correct hardware. And I was surprised it came with brake cleaner and fluid. Hopefully they work out great and I like the cross drilled rotor look, minus my chipped wheel smh.. I originally took my truck to get the brakes done and got quotes from the dealer and another well known shop. Both wanted $500-600. It didn’t seem logical at these times with money so I was very happy with this purchase. Also it came 2 days earlier so that was great..

Fit like OEM, looks good and performs well. The only problem I had was it was missing one of the 4 spring clips, I was able to get a replacement locally and the vendor did give me a credit for that. I could have reused the old clip but would have had to take the wheel back off the replace it with the new one so it was faster to just get one locally.

So far I am very happy with my brake rotors and pads. I installed on my 2015 Toyota Tundra 4×4. It took me a few hours to do the job, because it was my first time doing this myself. Here’s a tip: take photos of everything as you remove the original brakes. Also, it’s a good idea to pick up a cheap brake cylinder/pad spreader. It was very helpful for my job. The rotors and pads seem to be high quality and now my braking is incredibly smoother. My old rotors must have been warped, because when braking at higher spreads they would shimmy. I tow a 8500lb boat, and so far I am very pleased with the braking performance.

You can’t beet the quality and price from Detroit Axle. I have used so many sets of these on the cars I work on that I don’t even look at other manufacturers anymore. Perfect fit om my 2013 Tundra.

I purchased the rotors / brake pads as a kit. After installing the rotors, I noticed they are warped. My steering wheel shakes as I brake. I contact Detroit Axle customer service: they ask me to bring it to a certified mechanic to verify that it was warped, I ask them “Are you going to pay for it ?” They answer “No” . So I ask them to exchange the rotors, They answer “No”. Then I ask them to get a refund, they put me on hold for about 10 minutes and come back with an answer. ” We can’t give you a refund since you use them” So I ask them “how am I suppose to know if the rotors are good until I had them install?” . I was put on hold again, then they come back and told me “we can only give you back 75% of what you pay for” . I told them no way because you have a 30 days money back guarantee. At this point I was pretty upset and I told them thank you and I contacted Amazon. I’m so glad I have Amazon as the middle man, they helped navigate and fought Detroit Axle for two and a half months before I got a full refund. It was Amazon who refunded me not Detroit Axle. Having Amazon backing you up was a great feeling, you know it was going to be okay. Amazon staffs know what they’re doing, knowledgeable on how to explain and navigate so you as a customer can understand this process. My recommendation: Don’t ever buy anything from Detroit Axle, their products is defective and their customer service is even worst. If you ever do, get ready for a battle and a big headache if you have to return anything. I would give them a Zero Star but that was not an option.

I bought a full front brake kit from Detroit axle. It was all made in China if that matters to you. I honestly find it hard to find some thing that’s American made or not made in Mexico, Pakistan or China or India. These appear to be really good quality for slotted and drilled rotors. It would have been a five star review. Had Amazon mark these as Chinese made so I knew before they arrived. However, like I said, for the price, you almost have to expect that they are not made in the USA.
