My dog has caused a small area of discoloration on one corner of my dark brown leather couch that is very noticeable.. I have tried leather marker pens to no avail so thought I would give this kit a go. I was able to mix a light brown with a deeper shade to get the perfect color and then applied it using the enclosed brush. Took 10 minutes tops. Wow! Cannot tell there was ever an issue as the color blended perfectly with the leather. Hopefully it will hold up. The kit comes with large tubes of colors so great value for any future repairs. Highly recommend.

This repair kit basically uses colored glues to repair and conceal damage to your leather. That is not a bad approach but it seems to have some limitations and the pictures in the description might lead you to some excessive expectations.
– These are tubes of colored glue. They do not repair patterns of bumps or holes on the leather and each tube is a single color so if there are color patterns they are not coming back. I have seen videos where people carefully manually recreate the patterns of bumps or holes but that is really an expert level thing most of the time.
– Glue glues things. It can fill some but it works best when you can get two sides of the damage back into alignment and connect them. The glue then covers the different color of the padding below the leather and makes the cut/break line hard to see because everything is the same color. That means a cut out (or chewed up) part of something is just gone or at least will take some special efforts to fix. They describe a process in the instructions but it is one of those things that looks like it takes some craft to get right.
– This is a one part glue. Two part glues (epoxies) are generally stronger and faster drying at the cost of being tougher to use and often being pretty hard when they cure. This glue is a one part air dried product and it remains a little flexible for me even a day after application. I think that is a good thing because it tends to let the fix settle toward the original shape of the leather but if you are filling you might have to add second or more coats. You will also need to figure out how you keep everything lined up while the product dries. It is NOT a 5 second glue.
All that said, I think this is a good solution for relatively small blemishes and cuts and I’m happy with it.

We have a bonded leather massage chair that finally started to tear due to years of friction from the rotating massage rollers. We tried leather tape which worked for a few months but then they started to wear off and peel due to the same friction. We ordered the leather repair kit and applied it about 6 weeks ago and to this day it is holding up better than the leather tape ever did, and the color match is much better too. We’re hoping it continues to hold up even with daily use of the massage chair, but for now we are very pleased with the results from this repair kit.
