How is this not more popular? All the black exterior plastic on my car looks a million times better because of this stuff. Works better when the parts are clean. I apply heavily and let it dwell. I’ll let it sit for as much time as I have. If you buff it afterward it’ll give a little shine. I usually just wipe it for a matte finish.
On heavily UV and weather lightened plastic I had to use several applications. My plastic wiper cowl had faded to light grey and looked terrible. Used this stuff and it looked better. Did another application – better. Third one… now we’re talking. Not dark black, but very dark grey. Looks fantastic. And after using this stuff your parts will bead water like crazy.
One more use: some polishes and waxes will get a whiteish haze on your plastic parts that you can’t get off for anything. This stuff takes those light colored wax spots right off.
If I were a pro detailer I would never tell anybody about this stuff. It would be my secret weapon for getting cars to look amazing. I’ve rarely used a car product that works this well. My bumpers and wheel well trim all look fantastic now.
Forget anything that has a dye or looks black. It runs and makes a mess when it rains. This stuff is clear and it stays put. I’ve tried 2 or 3 other products on my trim. This is the one I come back to over and over.
Kind of funny, but when I get down to 1/2 bottle of this I have to order another one out of fear that I won’t have any.
One more tip: I used to wait for my black parts to look faded before using this stuff. That makes no sense. It’s part of my regular maintenance. I probably re-apply it every three months or so. Those parts never fade now and look great year round.

i purchased used floor mats and wanted to dress them up before we put them in the tesla.
Someone recommended this dressing and i used them on super used mats…they now look brand new.
the dressing is on the thinner side, so there is a change you will run out of as u tend to use a lot of it … a tad pricy though

I’ve been using products from Brothers Research (Duragloss) since the mid-80s. Virtually all are without peer. They make very specific products for very specific applications. This product works well on rubber exterior trim, hard plastic exterior trim and vinyl exterior trim. It “brings back the black” very nicely and is durable. It also has a UV inhibitor to boot. It will hold lint if you’re using non-lint-free applicators so plan ahead. Excellent product and results.
