I have used foam applicators or cloths in the past, but this works so much better at really pushing coatings or cleaners into all the crevices of tires, great for cleaning and coating tires. Best of all these seem like they will last much better, whereas the foam applicators tend to start losing chunks fairly quickly.

This is a high quality brush but it’s a bit tiny so you’ll need more time to apply tire shine. I used it to apply back to black and it works great. I just sprayed some directly onto the brush and applied it. Took about 2 to 3 times per tire. I’m not quite sure why the cover is open ended though. Seems a bit pointless but it does keep the bristles from deforming.

Good product in a very small form factor. I ordered these detail brushes to see how well they’d do applying tire shine to my tires over using a sponge and they work great! Spraying tire shine on your tires always gets product over other surfaces including your wheels and your breaks and that’s annoying to have to clean the product off. I have been spraying tire shine directly onto a large auto sponge and that works out pretty well. However, the sponge doesn’t do the best at applying the product to 100% of the surface of the tire in all the little lines, slats, letters, and other tiny nooks on the surface of the tire. This brush does just that. Just spray your tire shine on the surface of the brush enough to saturate the super soft bristles and go to town! The bristles get all the tiniest places on the tire surface leaving your tires super shiny and darn near 100% coated with tire shine product.
The fact that you get two brushes in this set is nice. Use them both, keep one for a backup when the first one gets old, or even use one for your tires and the other to detail the interior of your car. The bristles are so soft you could detail the inside of your vehicle and not worry about scratching any sensitive surfaces. I like that you get two brushes at this price point! The cute little stands are a nice touch too; keeps the bristles from getting dirty and dusty.

This tire brush and wax applicator has been working like a charm at detailing the inside of my car so I haven’t taken to using it in my car washing routine yet. It is made well, with perfectly soft, dense hair/fibers, the case that holds it and the way the handle is built is going to be SO useful for once I’m using it for what it’s really meant to do! Warm weather is around the corner and car washes are too, so I will update this review once I can attest to that performance as well.

These applicators work great for applying tire dressing, which is what I used them for. just be careful as they hold ALOT of product due to the fine brush hair. I will update as these get used over time and how well they hold up. Very pleased with these thus far.
