This is very effective for reaching across the top of the car so you don’t end up getting wet or rubbing against anything and potentially damaging the vehicle’s paint finish. The material is soft and washes easily enough too. Only problem is that the mop could have another inch of material so it could be cinched around the head of the mop more securely. It would also allow for some edge scrubbers. Still, very good and worth the price. Tip: If you can, don’t rest it fully on the paint, let the scrubbers come in contact, but hold it in a hover to reduce putting any scratches into the paint with anything it picks up while washing the car. Rinse often.

I purchased six months ago, but only used three times. The head came off the handle on the third use. The handle is attached by flimsy plastic pins. See photos. In an attempt to reattach the handle the pin poked a hole in the head which is thin plastic. See photo. I did manage to get the head reattached. It does not hold up well when soaked with water adding the extra weight. No excessive force was used, just the minimum to wash a vehicle. This junk would function better as a duster for hard to reach places.

I’ve used it for two washes so far and I’m very pleased. The pad seems to have sufficient microfiber ‘arms’ to do a good job. The pole does seem a bit flimsy but for the price its about what you should expect. The pad is also removable for washing and so far has held up after two washings. The pole makes washing a car/SUV much easier w/o having to bend down or be able to wash the roof w/o using a step ladder.

I’ve been using these to wash my cars for 15 years or so. This is my third, so they’re lasting 7-8 years under normal use. They clean cars as good as anything. But they’re not heavy duty, so care must be used. After each use just rinse the head good with a hose and hang somewhere to dry, and it will be ready next time around.

I bought this item to wash my car during the winter months. I don’t like to dip my hands into freezin cold water so I figure this would do the trick.
It was ok, … you really can’t get into the nooks & crannies of the car, I found I had to use my wash mitt to get under the rear spoiler, the recessed fog lights on the bumpers…etc. I also figure it could use a few more strands of microfiber…not enough.
If youre hoping to NOT touch the soapy water with your hands, you will be dissapointed. I like to wash my cars in great detail…this wash mop was just OK.

Makes a quick car wash go quicker. Rather than take the car to a cheap wash, where you run the risk of losing a mirror or antenna, I now use this. I can reach the whole car without getting wet or soapy, so I’m more likely to do it myself now. I have a couple big trucks, and previously couldn’t reach the center of the hood without standing in the door or getting a ladder. This will reach everywhere.
Not as good as getting the car detailed, but tons cheaper, and does a good enough job to make the car/truck look nice. Great for a 5 minute hose off with some zipwax.

I bought it for washing my car. I have used it for a year now and it works great.
Pros:
-The microfiber part is thick and soft. Much better then simple microfiber cloths and has no wear and tear after a year of frequent use (but make sure you cleaned it well, tiny gravels may get trapped inside the cloth and may scratch your paint). It absorbs the shampoo water great and diffuses it to the car.
– The removable cloth gives the advantage of easy cleaning.
– 48″ extension pole (fixed length) is adequate for reaching every spot on a sedan size car. (I am not a tall person).
-The head and pole parts are articulated with a hinge so can move freely adjusting the shape of your car.
Cons:
-Although not very often, every now and then the removable cap falls off during operation. You need to secure it tightly using the adjuster string and it is not the simplest thing in the world.
My conclusion:
So far it looks as a durable and well performing item. I am happy about this purchase. $ 14 is a bit on the higher side but due to its quality microfiber, it may still be considered as a fair price
