I bought them because they were a good bargain and was pleasantly surprised how well they worked. The heads are made of an abrasive plastic scrubbing material that really attacks the brake dust on my wheels. Other brushes that I’ve purchased that were much more expensive have been wimpy material that didn’t really remove the dust, I’d have to go over the wheel with a rag after using them. These Griot’s were easier because they got the dirt with one use. The handles are long enough to reach into the barrel of the wheel which is what you want. I can’t think of any negative to mention about them except they feel and look cheap, but heck they work!

I use these to clean behind the front surface of my wheels and they work great. The only issue I have with them is that they begin to separate from the plastic handle after several uses. I wore my original out in four months (washed the car maybe every 10-12 days). For the price they should last longer. Not a lot of road gunk, or other crud here in Tucson, AZ so it is just basic brake dust and some road grime. The wheels are basic five spoke aluminum wheels, no real sharp edges so they should last longer.

They are ok probably should have passed on these.

These brushes do their job quite well. Wheels with sharp edges or very tight spaces will tend to tear them up, but even in the worst case you should get four wheels scrubbed with one brush before having to discard it.
My only complaint is that the brush becomes unattached from the handle too easily. If the brush gets caught on/in the wheel as you pull back, it will eventually come off the handle. Once that happens, it’s much less useful (though still somewhat usable). My first one came off after only one or two wheels. I was subsequently more gentle with the next one, but I still detached the brush from that one eventually too.
So they aren’t very durable, but for the reasonably low price I think that’s an acceptable sacrifice. With care they will last for several cleanings each.

These are OK – they are a brush, but are very stiff, and seem to be hard to clean – meaning brake dust and other abrasives stay on the brush after use, and probably would scratch/abrade the finish on your wheels.
They seem way too expensive to be single-use, which would also be incredibly wasteful.

These are great for properly cleaning your wheels. I use these to get inside to all the gunk and brake dust off the inner rims. (TIP: 1st time take your wheel off and get all that gunk off the backside of the wheel and on the inner rim. Then with these its easy to keep them clean inside and out with little effort. The head material is firm, but scratch free and the polycarbonate handle just the right length. I did snag one on a caliper shield yet it stayed together. These should last a long time if you are careful not to hang it up on something sharp.
For the price these are a must have item for the anal detailer. $13 bucks for 3 = $4.33 each. Hard to beat that when something works so well.

I just got a new BMW and I’ve used these brushes several times now on the Mpkg. 18″ wheels. They work great for getting into hard to reach places and corners, especially inside the wheel and behind the spokes. I’m EXTREMELY particular about my car and wash it at least once a wk. I told my husband before I got these brushes that something is wrong when it takes longer to clean your wheels than it does to wash and dry your car; not the case any more with these brushes. Was afraid they might be too abrasive, but they are not. I’m using these along with a couple of other small Geriot’s detail brushes that I purchased and now it only takes half the time to get sparkling clean, shiny, looking like new wheels every time!

The first set that I received worked well and lasted a long time. The second set must have been from a different manufacturer as the brush part separated from the handle on all 3 brushes after a relatively short time-frame. Same car, same wheels.
Disappointing as I do like the brush design. Worked well with my wheels, but I’ll have to find a different type.

Not much to say about these other than they work really well. For the price they are a good bargain, they’ll last longer than you think but they will eventually wear out.
Don’t bother with the short handled version unless you are cleaning motorcycle wheels.
Combine these with a quality wheel cleaner like Griot’s, Meg’s Gold Class, etc and you’ll make short work of keeping your wheels their proper color instead of brake-dust-brown.
Pros- price, effectiveness, quality.
Cons- they won’t clean your wheels for you.
