For the cost of this wax/sealant, the results were not impressive on my long beach blue metallic car. Water beading was also meh… Had much better results with chemical guys Pete’s 53 wax and collinite 915 wax.

Out of all the chemical guys waxes I like this one the best. It applies really smooth dont douse the pad in wax only put a thin layer and watch it glide over your car with ease. I have two silver, gold, and white cars and this makes them look awesome. Every 2-3 months I rewax my cars with this. Downside is this wax is very expensive.

I was on the fence when I bought this product, it was rather expensive and that had me thinking twice about spending the money. However; Chemical Guys Black-Light and Jet Seal made such a difference over the other products I used. I thought what the hell. I applied it over a coat of Jetseal and let it sit for 20 minutes and then buffed it off. I was stunned, wow, damn it looked good. My neighbor said asked me who did the re-paint on my car, it has the deepest paint job I have ever seen. Those were her extract words. Needless to say, I can not wait to wax my Volvo V90 and my Acura TSX.

this product is so good when i was waxing my car at car wash a guy asked me what wax i was using and i told him my car i a 2007 honda accord with original paint another kept looking because he had a black car too but his was a lexus and newer so he would not ask

This thing is da bomb. My father went a little crazy with Chemical Guys products (i’m guilty for introducing him to their YouTube channel) and he got this and a mechanical buffer. And then he went to town on two cars, one white one black with metallic flecks. After watching the videos I thought that it was just camera magic, no way could something like this actually work in reality, and I was wrong. It works and it works great. The paint job was left looking so fresh. Not just nice after a good wash, but straight off the lot, not yet exposed to the elements fresh. Yes there were some swirl marks left behind, but I’m pretty sure those are now in the paint and no amount of magic wax that wasn’t a professional strip and repaint could take them out. Still, they are barely noticeable and the paint looks amazing. I do wish that this had a bit more water resistance to it. When it rains the water does bead off, but not for as long as a conventional over the counter car wax. But hey, this is as close to amazing as it gets.

Chemical Guys Lava Luminous Wax Is a fantastic Wax. The Wax will provide you with the mirror like luster finish with the added Benefit of adding a sparkle like finish depending on the base color you applying it over.”See Attached Pix” the was Application process is extremely easy. Just know the longer you set it sit the more and more difficult it is to remove. So do not let it cure for more the 5 min or be prepared to use a lot of elbow grease.

This wax does not have much going for it.
Very difficult to put on.
Any other Chemical bros wax including Concours goes on much easier and is half the price and I have used most of them.
Durability Ok but again see above, better off with jetseal then any other Chemical bros wax as a topper.
It seems to be more hype than anything and is way overpriced in my opinion.

I used this on a Victory Red Z06 Corvette over a coat of “chemical guys” jet seal sealant. The car had a nice shine going in but the LAVA really stepped the shine/ depth and color up a notch. (Maybe 5%, defiantly noticeable difference)
Easy to work with product.
