Purchased for my 2007 4×4 Chev Trailblazer. Front passenger side wheel was starting to make noise. Isolated it to the passenger side by using a trick I read in another review…worked perfectly. Thank you to whoever posted this little trick. Jack up each front wheel so the wheel freely spins. Put one hand on the coil spring near the bottom and wrap your fingers around the spring. Spin the wheel with the other hand and just see what you feel. In my case, the first wheel (passenger side) I definitely felt a little vibration in the spring. Lowered that side and jacked up the other side. Did the same thing and there was no vibration in the spring and it felt smooth as silk while the wheel was spinning.
Swapped out the bearing in a couple hours, taking my time to do things correctly, and now there is no wheel bearing noise when driving the vehicle.
Easy enough job if you’re reasonably mechanically inclined and have a couple hours of time. Make sure to torque the bearing to the recommended 103 foot pounds.

This is a review for the Moog 513188 Wheel Bearing Hub Assembly.
I purchased two of them for my 2008 Trailblazer LT. They replaced the same exact parts that were purchased from an auto parts store more than four years ago.
The bearings did not go bad on those. It was one of the wheel speed sensor, which is part of the hub assembly, that failed. Even though just one failed, I always replace them as a set.
The Trailblazer is notorious for chewing up the bearings, and when I replaced them, they were still in excellent condition.
The parts are well machined and are an exact fit. The wheel speed sensor cable came with the anchors that were also an exact match in both shape and their positions on the cables.
If they were to fail again in four years because of the wheel speed sensor, I would still purchase the Moog again. I’m more concerned with the bearings failing rather than the wheel speed sensors and since it takes less than an hour per hub to replace, the labor is no big deal.

These are a little pricey , but you can’t go wrong with moog parts. These have a built in ABS sensor. If you buy the cheaper bearing the sensors go bad leaving you with a light on on your dash and wishing you bought the better bearing . I installed these on both front wheels. Your ride will be smother and it should be quieter. You will know if you need wheel bearings by ether noisey tires, loud ride, and when you are stopping your car it rolls forward a little and you feel your abs kick on.

I used the Moog wheel bearing to replace a Pep Boys branded wheel bearing with 90,000 miles. The Pep Boy units caused my ABS to malfunction. The installation was straightforward. You will need a 36MM deep socket to remove the axle nut. I hope to get 100,000 miles from these Moog parts.
