Awesome product, hands down. I don’t write many reviews but this one was worth a quick line. I bought this to tackle some overspray that had been on my truck for a few years. Oil-based paint from something that got painted here at work. I was definitely skeptical on this thing working, but I soaked it and lubed my hood and gave it a try and this mitt scrubbed the overspray right off. You could hear how gritty it was at first but it just came right off and smoothed out. I couldn’t believe it. It definitely took some work, but I’m sure I removed 98% of it all in the first pass. The medium grade did leave some marring that I need to polish out, but I’ll take it.
After using this one time it is safe to say that I will never go back to using clay. Do yourself a favor and try one of their products out. This was the wash mitt but they also come in towels and smaller sponges, medium or fine grade. Excellent product all the way around, would give 10 stars if I could.

I used this on a Black Heavly oversprayed vehicle. I used extra car washing liquid as a lubricatant . I washed vehicle first using another microfiber cloth and after rinising I started using this washing mitt. I was leary because the package states light colored vehicles, this made life much easier than trying to claybar the whole car in Hot Dallas. It worked and left no marring or any noticeble marks requiring immediate paint correction. Percentage wise I say it removed 90% of overspray comtamination easily, the remaining contamination had to have more force applied. I used straight line strokes, no circular movement on paint. I broke it in on windsheild as recommended and stored it in same container after it airdried. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was it appears the polyside of mitt seemed as though it was peeling away in places, I didnt think I wiped anything which could have snag and possible caused this peeling. bottomline this is easily a tool for vehicle detailers.

I was expecting a difficult and time-consuming process. I thought I’d have to carefully run the mitt in a straight line over every inch of the car as you would with a clay bar. Instead, I quickly mixed some waterless car wash into a spray bottle and found I could basically “wash” the car with the mitt. It’s a 2000 Tundra with 230k and probably never clayed before. I could feel a TON of contamination. I did the entire truck in maybe 30 minutes (after washing it first, of course, and then using Iron X to get the easy stuff off). The mitt worked great and was easy. Afterward, the car expectedly looked awful. I corrected 4 panels and they’re looking good so I expect the rest of the truck to look good when finished. Awesome product and well worth the money for the ease of use alone, not to mention the ability to wash and reuse.

Wow! Very pleased with this product. It got much more contaminants out than I was expecting. I literally watched it pull some tree goo and other random debris off the surface of the car!
It did leave some scratches as noted in the product description and I was well aware and prepared to handle that since I was doing a full paint correction on my car. This mitt sped up the claying process! I will be buying the lite version as well of light work!

I was hunting down my my favorite car polish and glaze (25+ years) and I ended-up speaking to the person who owns the distribution company for it in San Francisco (KLASSE). We’re chatting and he tells me about this product (because I have been using clay for 25+ years as well). HOLY MACKEREL BATMAN!
I’ve now used it on a friends’ car and mine and the results are nothing short of jaw-dropping. Just slightly-less thorough than actual clay, this mitt easily shaved 45 minutes off my clay bar step, because THERE IS NO STEP ANYMORE! For a an average user like me–I don’t own show cars, I just drive everyday road cars, this product has change my perspective on washing and polishing the car. It is absolutely the biggest step forward I’ve experienced in the car care industry, ever.

I purchased this mitt for my daily driver as it’s been over 4 years since I’ve done a proper cleaning of my vehicle. I tried to clay bar it last year but it took so long that I was only able to clean a partial side of my car.
This mitt works great. Saves a lot of cay bar time. Follow the instructions to remove the protective layer and prevent marring.
The one issue I experienced is that after the wash, I laid it down on my porch handrail to let it sun dry. When I lifted the mitt, the sticky surface took some of the paint right off my handrails! Patching the hand rails is no problem but I was not able to remove all of paint from the mitt so in essence, this mitt can’t be used now. Contacted Nanoskin to see if there is a way to remove the dried paint. Maybe I need to cut portions of the mitt to remove the paint… Otherwise a great product.
Be careful where to place the mitts’ sticky surface, as it may be hard or impossible to remove certain types of material from it.

If you use claybar you know the importance of decontaminating the paint finish is vital to give a truly clean and smooth paint finish, which makes a better application of waxes and sealants will bond and look better.
Now this products does the same thing only u can do it as you washing your car when you use car soap lots of suds and high lubricity to gently rub crobyut paint to remove contaminants works as well as clay bar. Advantages it has over clay bar is as you well know once you drop a clay bar you working with, you throw it away there is no kneading it to a “clean side ” , you throw it away and use another fresh one because the drop price will pick up debris on he ground and when you continue to use it on your paint finish will scratch your finish, Second the clay mitt you use your car soap as your lubrication and you don’t need to use a quick detailer like you do with the clay bar, both are effective in my opinion, I use both.the mitt cost more and will last longer than clay bar.

Also there are other chemical spray on products also aides in decontaminating your paint, Sonax Fallout cleaner or Iron-X are spray on and wait about 10 minutes and will remove imbedded debris Ike fine metal and dirt after you spray on will turn purple. And rinse off, depending on severity of pain finish I like to go over once r more with clay bar and than a quick wash again to give the paint a thorough clean….
