Just wanted to let you know I got the BMW 325i 2004 sedan transmission oil filter it comes with the gasket it’s like a kit but the gasket is not the it doesn’t fit it’s the wrong gasket just to let you know the filter works I mean it fits in but the gasket doesn’t fit it’s a totally different shape

Wrong gasket for the 2003 BMW Z4 3.0. I ended up having to procure a gasket locally.

For 2002 BMW e39 530i Transmission gasket not fit but Transmission filter is good looking like OEM. I was orde twice and still mess up with filter. So I have to order separate trans-filter .

The box was labeled as Fram so it must be good! My mechanic said it was a perfect fit and it was timely I changed the trans oil, gasket AND the filter. The old gasket started to leak and supposedly the gold colored trans fluid was black! Yes, change your trans fluid, gasket , & filter every 80K miles. It must work well because my baby, “Tia Carrera,” is nearly humming now instead of slightly clacking/ticking!=ox
Save ton$ of money on a compatible, (2001 Porsche Carrera 996 cabriolet with tiptronic trans), high quality product… buy this! It is 1/5th the price a local shop will charge you and probably 1/10th the price a dealer will overcharge!=ox

Filter and Gasket bolts seem to be of good quality.

Good quality, very similar to OEM but with a better gasket. Bolt holes in the gasket are slightly undersized, so it holds them in place while you’re reinstalling the pan. This is a small design consideration that makes a big difference in practice, and it shows that some thought went into the engineering vs. the cheaper kits.

The filter was right but the gasket was wrong. Don’t know what happened but I had to go to local auto parts store and buy complete set to get the right gasket.
