I purchased a leather couch, and club chair with matching ottoman, it was expensive as is all leather, so as with everyone else I have the job of moisturizing it every so often, I use Guardsman to moisturize my furniture I find if your leather is dry, you will need to condition the leather with the Guardsman renew, with several coats to combat the drying affects of winter heating ,summer air conditioning, as well as direct sunlight. the guardsman is easy to apply as I have transferred the liquid to a spray bottle, Guardsman Renew has no oder is quick to dry and is recommended by the top furniture producers, not only for leather, but wood furniture as well, I have used nothing but Guardsman products for my fine wood and leather furniture for over forty years, there is nothing to compare to Guardsman products.

Years ago, this company had a cleaner and lotion separate. Twice the work. I like that I only have to go over our huge leather sofa once now. Our sofa is 20 plus years old and has survived tons of large dogs plus 3 kids. I take the sections apart once a year and apply the lotion with a sponge everywhere. Especially the seams, so they don’t get brittle. I just ordered another bottle and will take before and after pics when get to it.

I bought this assuming it would be thicker like the larger cleaner and conditioner I’ve always used. I have several other Guardsman products. They are all 5 stars.
This is very watery and messy when applying. It also does not buff out well and I’ve tried several methods applying to my leather furniture. I’d go for more of the traditional thicker cleaner and conditioner

This product is not a cream it like water I have never used a leather protector that is like water I don’t know how well it works for protector but it did not do a terrible job of cleaning it so I would say that I would wait to see if it will protect it but leather seats are too expensive so I’m gonna use a product that I have used for years and know it works and that is leather butter. I buy this along with several of the packages of wipes that Guardsman offers every year. Since I have both a couch and a large recliner in the den, a leather recliner in my library and a leather headboard and foot board in the master bedroom, not mention a husband who likes to eat in front of the TV in the den and 3 dogs who are always seeking your attention even though they do not get up on any of the furniture they do rub against it, this product is just what you need. I buy the Guardsman protect and preserve wipes for a once a month quick once over and then twice a year I use this product to keep all the leather looking like new. We also have a house with passive solar so in the winter the sun shines into our den and library when some of this leather furniture is and this product will help with any fading.
