Alex Vela –
Great part it’s kind of tricky to change it specially the rod that hold the outer lever to open the door. But besides that it was easy. It took me two hours to change it. But an hour and a half just to remove the old part
Julian –
Excellent

This actuator malfunctioned immediately. It worked after installation and testing with the door open, then locked permanently once the door was shut. It took hours and hours of unnecessary work to pry the door back open and remove this unit and replace with one from the dealer which works perfect. We were lucky to even get the door back open without damaging the door or the panel. I highly encourage people to purchase a Honda part as these after market items are a gamble.
Derek Roberts –
Needed to transfer a cover from the old to new actuator. The installation is tricky, but good videos on-line.

Worked fine for a little over a year and then broke leaving the door closed in the locked position and no way to open the door. Local shop charged me an hour of labor to get the door open. Even if the part was still under warranty and replaced I would not put this back in my car.
Joshua Roderick –
works perfectly months later. just needed to reuse one or two small pieces from old actuator.
Kenneth Bisbee –
apart from the struggle of getting the actuator behind the window channel, the locks weren’t too bad to put in – getting the mounting screws out were a problem – be sure to get a decent impact driver to take the screws out

Was easy to install, relatively. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because it didn’t come pre greased. I had previously purchased some silicon grease which I used on this component. Put grease in all the areas where it should have been. Other than that, all the bolt holes lined up. Everythng works perfectly. No complaints. It also didn’t have the plastic cover or screws the covers where the open and locking cables connect. It was necessary to reuse from the old unit. But I’m not giving it 4 stars for that. I’d rather reuse the old and have the price be lower.
