Good quality but its very small, wanted to use before carb for pressure gauge but this will not fit.

I ordered this fitting for a secondary engine temp sensor for my aftermarket Autometer gauge. It all went together without problems. Gauge was working as I expected. After running the motor for 30 min I noticed it was leaking engine coolant around the oil pan. Took me forever to find where it was coming from. It was coming from the temp sensor. I removed the fitting and noticed a small crack around the base of the threads. After further inspection, I notice the crack was going all the way around. I understand the fitting is aluminum, so I didn’t torque it down. It was a little tighter than hand tighten. I’m glad I found this problem before I was out in the middle of nowhere.
In case anyone is wondering, it’s an LS1 motor. The sensor location is located above the #8 spark plug.

Good item as described

Great Product! Worked Perfect! This was a perfect fit for a Kubota BX, Kubota uses British threads for oil
Sensors and most oil gauges and tees are standard thread.
The male threads on this tee screw straight into engine block and allows factory “dummy” sensor to screw into the female end. The side has a 2nd female port in standard thread which allows a standard oil sending unit to be screwed in. Allows the addition of an oil pressure gauge, while keeping the dummy light and emergency engine shut off feature.

Used to mount an oil pressure sensor and a second for a Holley Dominator. Nice quality, recommend.

I own a 2012 Mazda 2, and wanted to install an universal oil pressure gauge; This adaptor will allow you to install the factory oil pressure switch as you add a second port for the universal gauge sender unit, without intrincated modifications and relatively safe. I waited some years to do this review in order to ensure that the new gauge sender and adaptor work safely and reliablely (oil leak is practically null). I suggest to add some turns of teflon tape and not overtight the adaptor nor the senders to ensure sealing and avoid damage to your factory engine pressure sender port. I’m not a mechanic, so if you have any doubt, please ask your trusted mechanic first and not to me. Luck!

So far so good. No leaks and fit great to add an oil pressure gauge.

Pros: Heavy Duty, Perfect Fit, Good Threads on the male and two female ports
Cons: None right now
Uses: Split oil pressure for standard dash gauge and additional Mechanical Gauge
Observations: I had need to split out the oil pressure sending to both the dash gauge, which was faulty, and to a Bosch Actron Mechanical Oil Pressure Gauge. This fit the space at the oil filter housing perfectly and both the Bosch and existing Oil sending unit connected without issue and plenty of space. Take your time to avoid thread damage, don’t over tighten either, and use thread sealant or Teflon tape to to make a good seal. I will be buying more for other vehicles so they can have the Idiot OP light and a real Mechanical gauge.

Very nice machining compared to cheaper counterparts. 10/10 recommend.
