It worked fine for about 4 times. 5th time i went to open it and it started to have some troubles unlocking. 6th time it just wouldn’t open and I ended up having to break it off at the pump 🙁 very frustrated and disappointed

I bought this because I thought it would be good to lock the gas cap since I came out of work one day to find that my original gas cap was open and dangling from my Jeep. I had this new one for about 1 week (and yes I did check to make sure it was compatible with my car before buying) when I stopped for gas, and couldn’t get the gas cap off. After trying for about 10 minutes I went on google and found a way to open it. Fast forward to a week and a half later and I am stopped again for gas and poof it comes right off. The next time though I wasn’t so lucky. I tried to get it off and it just kept clicking. About 3 other people tried to help me but it just kept clicking and I was almost out of gas. I ended up scraping my hand so bad from trying to twist it off that I was bleeding. I went home and my neighbor and brother both tried getting it off. In the end we actually had to break it to get it to come off. When I contacted Amazon about this they were more concerned with me sending it back for a refund. It was broken so I threw it away but they kept saying I had to return it. So don’t buy this product it sucks
