Rolls the window up and down but doesn’t allow communication back through the wiring harness. Ended up costing me over $1,200 to find out why my dome lights no longer worked and the stereo would never shut off. Use genuine parts.

The motor was burned out and had to buy another motor.

Motor went out within a year. No response from company/ seller. Once it was installed, display showed open driver door and would not engage auto locks.

Since installing this component in my 2016 GMC Sierra, I am now able to use my power window. However, my truck does not recognize the open/closed position of my door UNLESS I cycle the passenger side window up and down which is arguably a bigger problem than I started with.

Caused random annoying electrical issues. Nothing that made me not able to drive my truck but stuff like the radio didn’t cut off or the lights didn’t cut off after I got out of my truck. GM does weird stuff with the relays and non OEM electrical components can be an issue. It did roll my window up and down but I went an ahead and spent the money for a OEM one and all my issues were solved. May work for some vehicles but for my GM truck it caused issues. I didn’t ask for a refund or anything I chalk it up to a teachable moment.

the connections did not match up to the OE GMC plug , luckily was able to take old regulator apart and swap out the connector to make it work

Plug did not fit! Everything else fit but the plug is not for a 2017 Chevy 2500 HD.
