My old cord had been bent and twisted enough times to break one or more of the wires to where one day it started producing smoke (shorting out) when I plugged it in. I thought what are the chances I could buy just the cord without the whole block heater? There it was, and I measured the plugin and saw that the shape was the same, and crossed my fingers. It worked for me.

My neighbor called and said something chewed the block heater cable on his tractor. I did a search and matched up the application to this cord. I got it in the mail and dropped it off to the neighbor. He says it works great !

This is a good replacement for your tractor engine block heater set up. Just make sure you have the right pin configuration before ordering.
