Tried to repair the original part, but ended up making a bigger mess of the cable. Item was delivered as promised.
Just had to remove 2 bolts and loosen up the other 2. Old part slides out and new part slides in. Less than 20 minutes to remove/replace.
Tip – make sure you secure the window properly. I used painters tape wrapped around the door frame and the window didn’t move while I replaced the part.

When I received the package it was so poorly packed with only one strip of tape that the box was open and any additional hardware or any information was missing. Also being just thrown into the box with no packing material the item was bent. After installation the window did not slide up correctly. I adjusted it the best I could but it is still not right. I am very dissatisfy with this Item that I would not recommend it to anyone! Terrible packaging job ruined the product that I had ordered in the past for my other rear window!

Easy to install! Worked great! Took about 40 minutes to get installed. A little slower than the other windows but I never use the back windows so its not a big deal. This will fix your window if it is sliding down by itself and is loose.

I have lost the window regulator on both rear doors of my 2004 grand prix. I was glad to find these replacements on Amazon for such a great price.
Anyone can do this repair. Check out videos on YouTube for how to get the door panel off and getting to the regulator. Less than an hour to swap out the window regulator start to finish. Works as good or better than the factory installed one. Hopefully it lasts longer.

Bought for my 2004 Grand Prix. Just three nuts plus the two window clamps to get it in. Took under 1 hour to do the whole job. Perfect fit. It was a little slower and a little louder then the others windows for some reason. Maybe I torque the nuts too hard. Always like to buy original for fixing my girl.

Good OEM product. Packaging was not great. Came in flimsy cardboard box with no packing to keep it from moving around in the box. No instructions, but I prefer YouTube videos for these types of repairs anyway. Works great.

Just installed my replacement one today – 9/16/19 – on a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. Requested Sunday delivery, but the driver must have gave up delivering and it eventually arrived Monday evening. Fitted perfectly (the holes lined up which is a good start), rear passenger window now goes up and down like a charm on demand (and not on its own). No packaging in the box. On the old one, it was the white plastic thing on the top end of the rail that was broken off the rail, but i think that was because a limiter in the motor assembly must be shot.

Shipping time was earlier then expected. I installed this on the rear passenger side of my 2004 pontiac grand prix and it fit perfect. For help installing it go to youtube and it will make installation easier. As a note remember to turn off the child safety switch for the rear windows as the rear switches will not work if it is turned on.
