I installed these on my 2017 Ram 3500 SRW Diesel truck. Kit comes in two boxes. Top notch parts and bearings. Everything was packaged or blister packed in a secure and organized manner. Good color instruction booklets with photos. All parts needed were included and fit as they should. Some things to note – have the correct tools before you start this project. For example – a heavy duty hub puller (I used an OTC #7394 Universal Hub Puller), a heavy duty press, proper torque wrenches, anti seize & thread locker, Couple tubs of wheel bearing grease, ect. You will want to also get the special large spindle nut socket (about $20 on Amazon: Alltrade part# 648477). My best suggestion is to watch the YouTuber “Shadon HKW” videos titled “Yukon part time kit / Dodge 3500 install part #1 (& #2 & #3). He does an EXCELLENT step-by-step installation of this kit and you can take notes on all the tools needed. I would watch those BEFORE ordering the kit. Overall my install went smooth. Pressing out the universal joints take an incredible amount of pressure, so be very careful and be sure to clean the paint off around the C clip areas on the bearing caps (and apply some PB Blaster or WD40 to help). I kept my u-joints as they only had less than 20k miles on them and were in great shape. One of my truck’s unit bearing hubs required more time and force with a puller to remove but the other side fell right off in my hand. So have heat & penetrating fluid ready to help in those situations. I also removed my center diff during this process while the axle was apart to install the Power Wagon front e-locker. This required me to also pull the passenger side inner axle shaft seal and inner (two-piece) axle – but you DON’T need to touch any of that if just installing the Yukon hub kit. I have been running the hubs since Nov 2017. I now have over 92,000 miles of 4-wheeling and towing/hauling with them and had zero issues. Actually only issue you will have after the install is REMEMBERING you now have hubs and will put the truck into 4WD and be very disappointed as to why your vehicle isn’t performing like it should! Did that twice in the first month after installation. The dials will be hard to turn when initially packed up with grease (pack them up good and that will help prevent water and debris from seeping in). But they will turn much easier with some use as the grease gets distributed inside the hub. I had to adjust the spindle nut on each side a couple times after installation to get it just right – not too snug and not too loose. (but better to error on the side to a bit looser vs too snug) Be sure to check them after a few miles and then after 50/100/500 miles. Also, the disc brakes will transfer heat down to the hubs after driving the truck and parking it. Don’t mistake that heat for the bearings being too tight. If you check them right after hopping out of the truck they should be slightly warm or even cool to the touch. After those initial adjustments I haven’t had to think about them other than to engage them when needed, or clean and repack the bearings. Can’t really say I have gained any noticeable MPG’s as some claim but they sure can’t be hurting the MPGs when driving with them unlocked as NOTHING is turning in past the wheel. I had the OEM 18” steel wheels and had to cut a hole in the center plastic caps. Used a 4-1/2 inch hole saw and my drill press. The hubs DO STICK out a fair distance from the wheel which would be the only complaint I have. If you are running wheel spacers or a wider aftermarket wheel with more offset this will not be an issue. If stock you WILL need to be careful when wheeling you don’t hit them on something. I eventually went to a wider 35×12.5R18 aftermarket tire/wheel combo with a +12 offset shown in the pictures. I am very happy these hubs (and the new front e-locker). Yukon makes a solid kit at a more reasonable price vs the competition in my opinion. Hope this review helps.

    Excellent product

Kit went together well! Have yet to test it for longativity but have a good feeling it will last! High quality kit! Only thing I would recommend is to get dust seal for superduty where the shaft slides in the front axle! Save all the dirt from going in there! 2004 dodge 2500!

The kit is awesome and getting rid of the unit bearings is nice.
The spin free setup can be used exactly like your current setup if you’re worried about getting out to lock the hubs, just leave the hubs locked all the time.
My kit was sent with only 14lugs 16lugs required, also confirm you have the correct size lugs, my kit was sent with 9/16 SAE lugs, I run 14mm, the hubs have 2 identical lug patterns but have different size holes for the different diameter lugs. Yukon answered the phone polite, helpful and sent me what I needed no extra $ and only took a day to arrive to PA from KY
The Timken bearings Yukon provides are top quality, they are big so confirm you have a large enough bearing and seal driver kit before getting started.
Ram Ujoints depending on what axel are protected designe by Chrysler. The only place you can get Ujoints for the axel is from dodge, unless you know someone that knows stuff. I have a friend that owns a custom axel shop and knows stuff and had a aftermarket that fit.
My kit required a spanner socket I didn’t have so confirm you have one before ripping in.
If you confirm those 4 things before getting started the kit is a easy straightforward 1 day job to assemble and install.
    I’m 100% satisfied

I installed this Yukon YA WU 07 kit on my 2003 TJ Rubicon after I re-geared the diffs from 4.10 to 5.13. After the new gears went in there was a harmonic vibration at highway speeds from the from driveshaft now turning 20% faster that no amount of balancing could fix. With this kit, the front driveshaft no longer spins at all on the highway so no more vibration. As a bonus, the new cone bearings in the hub are far stronger and far more serviceable than the original unit bearings.
The lockout hub that came in the kit is not a Warn or Yukon but a AVM hub made in Brazil. A very good company that’s been making Toyota and Nissan hubs for a very long time. Instead of the cast allow internals like the old Warn hubs, these have much stronger machined billet steel parts. All of the bearings are genuine Timken. I’m very happy with this kit.

My 04 Dodge is 18 years old but has slightly under 100K miles. I use it mostly for hauling and towing heavy loads. I knew that the unit bearings in the front end would need changed at some point. It’s a pretty big job and cant be done on the road if you have a failure on a trip. This kit replaces the unit bearings with standard tapered bearings that are field serviceable. The second big deal for me are the lock out hubs. One of the wonderful things about a 4X4 is low range in the transfer case. For backing up heavy loads or tight maneuvering the lower gearing gives greater control. However the stock system forces 4WD in low range. This is not good for turning on hard surfaces. With the lockout hubs I can use low range and turn as tight as the PU can with no drive line binding. The third benefit is under almost all of my normal driving the front axles, differential and drive line will not be spinning away doing nothing useful. I used a 4-5/8″ hole saw to cut the clearance hole in the factory hub caps for the hubs. Installation is a big job. Requires a fair amount of tools and patience.

Excellent product!! Easy install. Best of all no more expensive hub assemblies

    excellent set up

I purchased this kit and installed it about 5 years ago. It was spendy but I was happy with the improved fuel economy and the installation went pretty well. Unfortunately, after 5 years of mild use, some of the wheel studs have stripped out the serration on one hub and some studs are stretching from fatigue. I always torque my wheels to the factory spec. I called the manufacturer, Randy’s Worldwide, and they quoted me over $250 dollars to replace just one hub. No mention of the so called lifetime warranty. This is not great customer service considering I still have to do all the work!
