I was getting the notorious ABS, VSA track control lights coming on in our 07 Jeep JK with the 3.8. I found the codes directing me to the wheel speed sensors. I replaced both front and rear along with a front unit bearing on the passenger side axle. This fixed the problem. On these Jeeps, it seems to be the front pass wheel that goes out first. probably due to the amount of dirt, slop, and road treatment that they get hit with being on the pass side of the car. Start on this side first or just replace them all and not have to worry about chasing down issues in the future. For the price they/re well work it and it’s an easy job.

These sensors are aftermarket but you do get 2 for far less than you’d pay for one true OEM sensor. All the rubber bushings and plastic push clips for mounting or securing line up Perfectly with the OEM locations. Also they did eliminate / cure the ABS / TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT, which is why I made the purchase in the first place. Now let’s see how long they last because as far as I’ve seen it appears the wheel speed sensors are know to commonly fail on these Wrangler JK’s.

When I tried to remove the factory part I broke it so I had to drill a small hole down the center about a half inch deep then drove a screw into it and used needle nose plyers by grabbing the screw head and pulling the broken sensor out.
Before replacing I cleaned the hole out of debris and make sure you use the small red o’ring from the original the replacement sensor does not come with it. I also pit a small amount of marine grease around the base of the sensor (not on the sensor itself) and gently pushed the new part back into the hole and used the original Allen head cap screw to secure ot down.
Follow the path of the original wire to the plug just behind the mudguard at the top of the shock tower.

They fit perfectly just like brand new

I replaced the ABS sensors in my 2015 Jeep Wrangler JK with these parts. They are exactly like OEM and come with dielectric grease. The ABS sensors going bad in the wranglers is unfortunately a common problem, but this part fixes that. Good luck getting the old sensors out without breaking them. If you live in the rust belt it most likely will. I soaked the old sensor in PB Blaster, drilled a pilot hole, inserted a wood screw in the pilot hole and then pried the part out.

I would leave less than 1 star if possible. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! These are absolutely the worst quality car parts I have ever bought. I bought both the front and rear and ended up chasing ghost in the machine. It had my vechile randomly kicking on traction control and locking my tires. It almost cost me a crash and even cost me several hundred dollars in repairs trying to figure out what was wrong. Finally figured out it was these wheel speed sensors not working properly.
