This thing was broke upon arrival. I should have returned it but I ended up throwing it away I was so mad.
So this thing arrives and I thread it on to my hose attached to my 30 gallon storage tank. I started pumping fuel and it leaked from the fitting. I knew I should have used gasket maker and put a light coating on the threads but I didn’t. I ended up taking it apart and sealing the hose threads. About 6 hours later I tried it again and I could not get the fuel to come out. I thought for awhile it was my pump that gave out but it was an internal problem in the nozzle. Seems the internal plunger was stuck and would not let fuel out. I took it apart and springs and bearings flew all over the garage. DO NOT TAKE IT APART. At this point I just threw it away and ordered another one from amazon. There is an all metal one with no rubber jacket that is cheaper and works great. All in all I did a lot of things wrong here and should have not taken it apart and just returned it. Live and learn.

i was excited to receive this unit. well made, looks great but doesnt seem to work without a pump. i have a 24 gallon temp gas walker that is gravity fed and it just wont work- even with steep slope that should really provide a strong flow.

You must face it, it is a China Knockoff. Even so, it does work very well, is easy to use, and the only slight drawback is that it seems to be able to flow at a bit slower rate than many others I have used (I would guess it to pass about 20-25% less.). So the slight reduced rate is the only sacrifice you will make on this. Again, for the money paid out, this is a pretty good deal…… assuming a good long life….. I have used it for 2 months now to pump gas from my portable trailer tank. I bought 2 of the new Dixon units, and both of them failed in very short times,……they are good old USA made items. So giving these a try is not that big of a risk at all. Enjoy

I only pumped 50 gallons thru it, so I can’t speak for durability, but I have it on a rotary hand pump and the shut off worked on it.

If you shop for these you can get one at a good price–which I did. I bought a Goodrich Ag hose assembly to go with it. It seems to work fine.

The nozzle works well and appears to be well made. I have been using it with water from a standard garden hose and the auto-shut off works fine. I had to get an adapter for the hose, Nelson Industrial Brass Pipe and Hose Fitting for 3/4-Inch Male NPT to Male Hose, Male and Female 50577

There were a lot of interesting reviews on this product. However I bought it anyways, so I could review and be verified to retort to some of the folks leaving obviously moronic comments on here. First, metal will oxidize so quit complaining about a steel rivet rusting when exposed to the elements. You deserve 1 star for failing to keep the rivet lubricated and perform proper maintenance.
Secondly, this nozzle is better suited for a 10 GPM pump. It is not the MFG’s fault you don’t know your pumps specs and bought an incompatible nozzle. My pump outputs 20GPM which makes the auto-shut-off feature very sensitive. I wanted to be cheap, so in return I received a very sensitive nozzle that is much safer than filling at a gas station…. My fault not the MFG’s….
Lastly, if you are going to leave your opinion on a product, be honest. If you are a tard, just say so. There is nothing wrong with being a tard, except for when you try to blame your tard’ness on a product that is not a tard. When you do that, you emit a 12 YO stench that Joe Biden can smell from the other side of the world.
