Good Fel-Pro quality. No instructions or torque specs, but that is typical. Stopped the leaks on 2003 Jeep Liberty. Perfect fit. Lookup YouTube videos on how to change gaskets. Passenger side is the hard one. Driver side is easy.

Replacing the valve cover gaskets is a labour intensive job, just to get access to, and remove the valve covers! Because of this, don’t cheap-out on a burried part!
When tightening down, dont worry about the torque specs, you will feel spacers bottom out to a sharp stop. Just a little snug is all that’s required after that. Thighten down in a criss-cross pattern.

Absolutely no issues installing this gasket. It fit great and the grommets popped right into place with no lubricant needed. Gave it a test drive and finally after a year I have no oil leaking. Will update if it fails anytime soon, though I don’t anticipate it

I bought a valve cover gasket for my 02 Jeep Liberty 3.7 on eBay and it was still leaking but just slightly and not super obvious right away but after months I realized it was slowly leaking with the help with uv dye for oil leak detection. I am on a tight budget being disabled on a fixed SSDI income so I wasn’t tryna pay $60 or as it’s listed on here for $45 for a felpro gasket but seeing that it had been returned and it being listed as very good almost like new condition I went ahead and crossed my fingers in hopes that it was not damaged and that someone maybe ordered the wrong part and returned it right away without manipulating it or doing anything to it which could’ve damaged or messed it up in anyway which I believe is the case because it looks brand new, no indication of it being tried on a vehicle or any wear and tear or dirty markings. It looks brand spanking new and all parts were included and I was able to get it luckily for $26 which is roughly around the price for the ones I ordered from eBay and the cheapest price you can find on eBay or other similar places that are made in China and I can tell you that, although they look similar, you can feel and see the difference in materials and can tell that the cheap ones from ebay are not as good of quality as these felpro which are known for being a top leading manufacturer in automotive gaskets and wish I would’ve known before ordering and paying for something that would have to be replaced again and ultimately trashed so if i would’ve just paid the extra money for a felpro gasket I would have not had to do the same job and paid for a piece of junk that was useless and ended up paying for the part I tried to cheap out on at the end of the day. So lesson learned, don’t cheap out on some things that might fit and look similar but not function, operate, and lack the durability of the known quality part. So I’m happy that I was able to get it for almost half off original price but wish I would’ve just started off with it to begin with and avoid having to redo the same job but it’s a good learning experience for me and hope this might help someone who might be thinking of cheaping out like I did cause at the end of the day it’s better to get something you know will work and fix your problem than to worry about the cheap Chinese imitation crap eventually failing it it doesn’t right away and then having to do it or if you can’t and have to hire someone to do it again which is probably not going to be free and have to pay for the labor on what should’ve been said n done and fixed the first time. I’m not sponsored or was I incentivized to write this review on behalf of anyone I just am a normal person writing my honest experience to try and help others make an informed decision during these hard economic times when we’re all trying to save some money when we can because everything is so expensive and if we can get something cheaper I think we all try to but what good is it if it doesn’t fix your problem and what she spent on that failing part was just time and money spent and a lesson learn’t so learn from my mistake so you don’t have to go through the same waste of time and money as I did or if you want go ahead and try that cheap Chinese imitation stuff but it’s cheaper for a reason and at the end of the day you’re going to have to fix your issue with a good quality part that is going to be a little bit more expensive and it’s better just start off with that and not have to worry about your cheap part eventually failing and having to fix it with the part that you should have just got from the beginning that is reputable and a good known quality product

Fast shipping – good price. Fit perfectly on a 04 jeep liberty. Got everything I needed in this kit. Grommets, oil reservoir gasket along with the valve cover gaskets. No leaks, no smoke,no smell. The wife is happy to drive the jeep again.

Ok – it was a bit of a pain to swap the passenger side valve cover in my 2004 Jeep Liberty. That’s not this product’s fault at all. Once I got it swapped, this cover has fixed my issue of leaking oil and worked great. If you’re going to do this repair yourself and don’t normally work on cars, my main advice is to get the right tools for the job. The bolts you need to remove aren’t the easiest things to get to, so make sure have some deep sockets, extensions, swivels, etc. I made a run halfway through to get some different tools and was able to do as much in 10 minutes as I was able to do in an hour with a standard socket set.
