This thing is junk! Don’t risk your VP44 or injectors with this crap. I first noticed metal shavings in the hole where the ball and spring is so I tried to pick them out. Then found out the spring has maybe half the pressure of the OEM one. It also has no air purge hole like the OEM one.

Worked for me on a 1996 Ram with P pump , I did blow it through with airline before fitting but it seemed clean and free from loose metal shavings . old valve had spring and plunger missing which is why i replaced it .Truck now has fuel pressure of around 20psi at idle
