The part itself is priced attractive and fit perfect. I only had it in for 6 months with almost no miles as it’s a backup car. Went to drive it and wouldn’t go and wanted to clunk out. Towed to mechanic. Upon diagnosis was clogged lower cat. It had a new upper cat previously, then this lower cat, piping and muffler for inspection in may (the 6 months ago I bought it). The mechanic stated this cat failed. It’s all clogged with the inner material. When the lower cat was removed car ran perfect. I contacted vendor with the diagnosis. They replied with comments regarding check engine lights and o2 sensors. I replied with I never said anything about those things, are you replying to the correct person. They said I needed to send back to Canada for inspection. I said it was bought 6 months ago and asked for a shipping label. They have ignored me. It seems there is no warranty on these items, which at bare min exhaust/evap items are typically 12 months or 12,000 miles. I warn to stay away and spend the extra on a US based or local vendor. Even for Amazon’s 30 return, you must pay shipping to return. They could’ve also worked it like that for me, contacted Amazon and taking it as a return in which generating and subtracting the shipping label, but they won’t even work with you on trying to remedy the issue. I have the bills proving mileage and installation for return or warranty replacement, they won’t work with you.
