This only fits the original Prius factory wipers! I did not want to replace mine with a off brand, and this fit perfectly! You have to make sure and use the metal stripes from the old one, since this does not come with them.

These are great quality for wiper inserts. I found them easy enough to install and they last as long as any other wiper blade on the market. And they cost a lot less! Good purchase!

Appears to be new rubber and fits and works perfectly once you get it installed. But it is JUST the rubber piece , so you must carefully remove the old rubber blade, fish the two wire side pieces out of it, install the two wire side pieces into this new rubber blade, and then carefully reinsert the whole assembly back into the wiper arm. Make sure that the prongs on the wiper arm are in the correct groove of the rubber blade because if they pop out , they could scratch your windshield !

Just replaced both driver and passenger wiper inserts in my 2014 Prius. I’d say 7.5 years is pretty good mileage along with about 60k miles. Just watch the car care nut video about replacing these as I didn’t realize these inserts are about $11-12 per side and their cost is justified as they last so long and do a great job compared to other aftermarket wipers. Hugely recommended!

It is 2019 and I am replacing the original on my 2013 and 2014 Priuss’ wiper blades. Both sets were Original to the car. We live in southern california so the principal damage to them is rubber hardening and sun. They don’t get used much and the autos are in the shade or garaged. The 2013 were split the 2014 were not damaged and still worked. But I wanted to make a test of aftermarket versus OEM from a dealer. So I bought autopartsmaster blades for $17 for the entire unit. and these at about 12 each for the OEM rubber part only. After tax the difference was about 7 dollars. Both are built the same except for the shim steel part on the OEM. One difference is that after measuring my 2013 prius 3 and 2014 EV could handle a 19 inch blade on the passenger side. the OEM is 18″ So I bought the 19 from autopartsmaster. It is raining and I have new blades on both cars now. After a quick drive with each I can say they both perform the same. No streaking, quiet, and smooth wiping. They hold the windshield up to 80mph. They look identical even to the aerodynamic shape. I am happy with either so far. One thing in the OEM favor is how long they should last. I’ll be back in a year or two to report any differences if any. No report means they are the same. We did look at other options but any other blade manufacturer, looks clunky on the car compared to these. As far as installation goes, Once I took the wiper off by raising the clip and separating the assembly from the u end of the wiper arm, I just put a sticker on the end you pull out the rubber from so I could insert it the same way. Itt is obvious you remove from the end with the large part of rubber and not the end where the blade just ends. I then removed the blade by pulling it past the stops. It does require some force. Then I took out the metal strips from the old, put them in the new noting the curvature and slipped the blade back into the wiper assembly. then reinstalled the assembly to the arm. Easy. Took only 10 minutes for both including warming up a cup of coffee in the microwave. If you have original wipers, you really can’t go wrong with these or the autopartsmaster NO.19515-1 set. I am amazed the originals lasted so long.

I used to replace the entire wiper blade assembly on previous cars that I’ve owned (probably taught to do that when I was younger, or perhaps tricked by marketing over the years). I was searching for new wipers for my Prius… but found that other owners were complaining about the fit of many aftermarket wiper blades. I found several suggestions to simply buy the OEM replacement wiper inserts.
So I did. Amazon’s website automatically offered the correct size grouping for my pre-saved car. I searched the youtubes, and found instructional videos for blade removal on the front and back, and another video about replacing Toyota rubber wiper inserts. It probably took me 15 minutes to find and watch the videos, remove the old ones, and install the new ones.
And they work fine. I think the dealer only charges $35 for this, but I forget exactly. But you might save a little money.

I bought this as a gamble to replace the rubber in my Denso hybrid wiper blades. A PERFECT FIT!
There is a fat end of the rubber that holds the two metal retainer strips in the rails. Pinch the fat end a bit and simply slide the rubber out. Put the two metal sleeves in to the new rubber and reverse the process. 5 min start to finish.
I put the more modern and low profile Denso blades on my Tacoma a year or so ago. Now I know I have a refillable aftermarket blade. My Tacoma (1998) hasn’t had the OEM blades for a decade plus so I have burned through several after market blades. Before I got the Denso I tried the Bosch low profile blades and was in unimpressed for the price. Same opinion about the Goodyear blades too. Not to mention, they aren’t refillable, just replaceable.
In the northern California climate I really can’t ask for much more from a wiper blade. In a calendar year it sees 0°-125°f with not much rain but pretty regular morning dew and seasonal snow. With that said, I use them around 200 days a year for maybe an hour average so let’s call it 200 hrs a year.
