I got this to help with making my car a bit more adaptable for tech. I’ve got a 2017 car so there are a few new devices I need to power up like my mirror cam and usb ports for charging devices while on the go. Also to help the occasional iphone user in my car who needs to charge. I do like the idea of the use of the extension cord, because it’s good to be able to place the cigarette lighter adapters in a place that can be accessible. It’s great that it also comes with a couple additional usb ports. This would be a really great device for anyone who needs to power up multiple devices or frequently has passengers in their car… I’d recommend it!

This is a great replacement for my old 3 port adapter. It has a voltage reader on it and can handle a fair amount of power output.
So far, I have 2 car fans, a dash cam, and phone charger and it’s handling all of them very well. I plan to add some USB lighting to the car as well and I believe this 3-port adapter will easily handle them but will come back and update my review if not.
The adapter has a built-in breaker to blow a fuse if it’s overloaded with power. It comes with two additional fuses in case a fuse is blown.
The lighted ports are nice as well and are not too bright – the pictures makes them look a bit brighter than they really are.
Happy with this product!

I got this to replace a slightly older charger hub that was already falling apart, but I don’t think this is going to last much longer. The contact plates at the base of each socket are mounted directly to a visible circuit board, which makes it feel cheap. The buttons feel cheap, the sockets don’t hold onto the inserted chargers very well, with mere micrometers of movement meaning the difference between power and no power. I can’t recommend getting this, but if you do get it, it’ll usually work okay. You might have to finagle your chargers or even unplug them and plug them back in, but when this doesn’t end up being required, this thing works fine.

This is a good lighter plug splitter. It has three lighter plug sockets and USB ports and one of them quick charges for me. The lights are a nice feature, but a bit of a distraction for me at night, so it’s an added plus that they can be turned off. I like that the display on the voltage meter is not so bright and I checked with my multimeter and the voltage matched the majority of the time with the vehicle running and when it didn’t there was .1 volt difference. With the vehicle off the multimeter and this volt meter had the same reading. The only thing I would like more is for it to come with mounting hardware but at this price, that would be asking too much.

This 3-socket cigarette lighter adapter looks and feels OK. It comes with two USB charging ports. Its “built-in safe fuse and smart recognition chip prevent over-current, over-voltage, and short-circuit protection,” which is great. What I really like about this adapter is the digital display of the voltage on its plug.
I am not going to waste your time with a more detailed description of this item, because I do not recommend electrical/electronic devices that do not have any safety certifications from at least one of the respectable organizations, such as UL, CE, CCC, or ETL. There is no certification list anywhere on its box, the adapter, its user manual, or its webpage. Any company that is smart enough to produce such a good product should fully know that it has to have its product certified.
People need to get into the habit of using only electrical/electronic items that are certified for safety by at least one respectable organization. The risk of something wrong happening is very low, but is still hugely higher than using an item that is safety-certified. Many electrical items sold in discount “Dollar” stores in the U.S. are safety-certified by respectable organizations.
As a retired aerospace/avionics engineer, I will not use uncertified products, and I will persuade the people I care for not to use uncertified products. Why take the risk? If companies do not make the effort to have their products certified, why should consumers make the effort to buy their products?

Being a rideshare driver, I need a lot of power. For the longest time I needed power for my electric lunchbox and for a couple of extra USB ports in my van. So having a two port charger worked fine for me, but then I got a dash cam. That dash cam required a car charging adapter. I had no room and had to find myself a new one that had three ports. I ordered this one and got it within a couple of days. It has made life a whole lot easier. Now I can maintain the security of my van as well as heat up my lunch and charge up a couple of extra USB devices.

This is a good splitter. This replaced a much older splitter in my vehicle I often use when camping. I love the battery status monitor and the fact that I can turn on/off the sockets and lights. I will be able to tell with a glance that I have forgotten to turn something off now. I have a socket that is straight-wired, meaning it is always powered even when the engine is off. I have drained my battery because I didn’t realize I had forgotten to unplug the device. This resolves that issue for me. The added benefit of two additional USB ports is great. I still have a lot of 12v gear but I am transitioning to USB/rechargeable by attrition, so there will be a period of time when I need both options available to me. I can’t really say this is the highest quality item I’ve ever had but it’s fairly decent. I expect it to last a few seasons at least. As I paid about 3x the price of this one for my older one, I think this is a good price for this AND it helps me to get more value out of my older 12v gear. I recommend it.
