Jeffrey McCullough –
Make sure you have a puller for the job. I bought a battery / window pull kit to go with this. That made replacement quick.
It’s on and fits my crosstrek fine.

Super easy to remove the old and install the new. Did not need that puller thing that was recommended. Just a Cresent wrench. Did it all by my little girl self! To buy the arm from Subaru was 2hundred and something dollars. The little cover was 50.00, and can you imagine if I hired Subaru to install it? I saved close to 400.00 And yes I turned it on to make sure it fit and worked properly. A lot of people complained that it didn’t actually fit there car, but the possible savings is worth the try!

The part seems to be pretty good quality out of the box. It’s nice that it comes with a blade as well…

No instructions how to time with the motor

This arm has a bend to it and is not straight like that OEM version. Also uses a different wiper blade. This is going to be a pain in the butt when I have to replace the blade and have to buy a whole new arm assembly.

It works

I don’t know how all you good folks are raving about this fitting your Subaru Foresters as it didn’t come close to fitting our 2011. As a couple of reviewers here stated, the mounting hole in this assembly is smooth with no splines to match the splines in the mounting arm coming out from the vehicle. It is also too large as my pictures show. I returned it.
Yes, I tried tightening it down carefully but it just flops around loosely. How did you Forester folks do it to where it worked? All the assemblies I’ve looked at here have the same smooth, large hole hole with no splines to snug into the mounting arm splines from the vehicle. It’s too crazy and so many of you folks say it matched perfectly. I don’t get it.

I get so frustrated with car washes that rip off my rear wiper. This one is reasonably priced, fits, and can be installed easily! I’m very happy with it.
