Comes as a 2 pack only 1 is needed in my 42re transmission. Installed new spring with no issue. Should also work in a 44re transmission.

If you know accumulator springs inside transmissions, this product is for you. I found a broken one in my jeep. This spring fixed it. It would hold first, or not shift at all. A fairly easy fix if you are mechanically inclined. It takes about an hour to replace. If you don’t know, this is a very messy job, you want to be ready to get dirty. Be prepared to get oil off the floor before you start. A transmission shop would charge you an arm and leg. A fairly green mechanic can do this job and save a lot of money.

Replaced as part of my 30-40k transmission maintence cycle. Ordered the same one last time and it held up fine when pulled, did not break or significantly weaken, just some contact point wear.

Perfect replacement for my 42re transmission broken accumulator spring, not really sure why anyone would need two but in the unlikely event I put another 300,000 miles on this transmission and it breaks again, I will fortunately have a spare
