All cons:
– the On Off writing is tiny.
– this device won’t work with 2/0 AWG lugs and higher as the cutouts don’t accommodate. I would say you may even have trouble with 1/0 AWG lugs. No way could i get the 2/0 lugs to fit and i tried each of the 4 cutouts. How pathetic is that???
I have ordered other similar switches from Amazon and they accommodate the LUG size above ok.

This switch is smaller than the Perko units but works exactly the same. Handles the two boat batteries without a problem. The price is good too. I am ordering another one for my tow vehicle. We got out fishing for a week at a time. It’s great to be able to shut off the batteries.

Solar battery set up, as a sailor have used same item on boat. Allows isolation and switching of battery banks!!!!! Works great and well made

Okay so this switch does do the job. However the feel is a little cheap however so far has worked as should. I installed it in my boat to have two batteries on board.

I built a dual battery system for my remote travel vehicle and used this switch to tie it all in, along with a smart controller. I vary which battery I use and then will turn them all off if I’m in a spot where I feel it’s needed. This switch is the base of that system and has so far given me no problems.

my mobility scooter uses 4– 12v 22ah batteries making it 48volts total. i use it a lot and can run my battery down in 4 hours of running it about as fast as it goes 15MPH. added a second set of batteries and this switch so I can choose battery set #1 or #2 or Both and its perfect Ican now last all day or up to 75 miles. very happy with the knob and is easy to install easy to switch batteries. Nice to have. Works perfect and will last for years.
