What’s Awesome;
-Wood head construction, and bristles don’t fall out. The white rubber bumper also appears to well attached, as after two years it’s still intact.
-Bristles are more UV resistant than other brands. I’ve learned to always keep my brush hidden and out of the sun when not using it. I’ve found cheaper brushes, the bristles will fall out easily when exposed to just sitting out in the sun for a few days.
-Bristles seem to last a little longer than other brands, and stay soft over time not hardening up.
What needs improvement;
-The heads are pricey, especially so when comparing to other brands that are half the price.
-The pole and attachment are proprietary (kinda), and you can get adapters to use other pole brands
Conclusion;
I still stick with Shurhold simply for the durability. I generally get 2-3 seasons of use from a brush, whereas the cheaper ones only last a single season.
