NICK –
Before install measured fender height on driver and passenger front was 34 3/4-35”.
After installing new struts height is 36 1/4” passenger side and slightly less on driver side. (Stock tires 245 75 16)
Strut is definitely longer than stock.
They are still settling so i’d expect to achieve a little over an inch difference.
Btw its a 19’ tacoma 4 door 5’ bed.
Definitely a better ride then the stock ones. Over speed bumps the stock struts would dive hard bottoming out especially on drivers side. The RC’s still allow the truck to dip but just enough to absorb the bump. Making it far less dramatic compared to before.
Just make sure to undo the 2 retaining bolts for your abs. To give some slack. I forgot to on one side before separating upper ball joint. Some zip-ties or wire from upper control arm to the sway bar mounting hole will help hold it all up for you while you get the new strut in.
