Beth Ross –
I purchased the Rema Tire Talc to make my own chalk paint. As a crafter chalk paint is very popular right now, but it can become very pricey. So I researched the components of chalk paint and discovered that talc is the prime ingredient that, when added to regular acrylic paint, changes it to chalk paint.

Something of which few people are aware. This is for tires with tube’s inside, such as in bicycles, wheelbarrows and wagons. The talc allows the tube to equalize inside the tire.
Elizabeth Hansen –
We use this in aircraft tires cans came undamaged in a timely matter and is meeting our needs.
Jerry J Gonzales –
I used this product to rub on the seals on my slides of my class “C” RV. This is a large container, so should last my entire life.
Ylo –
I like that this product is still made and available! Too bad that the talcum powder scare has driven the stuff out of all the drug stores.
I suppose it’s best to use outdoors (i.e. good ventilation) and avoid breating the dust, but treating your innertubes with it will keep them from adhering to the tires for easier tube insertion and reduced rolling resistance. Or, switch to tubeless!
B.P.M. –
I purchased No. 63 Tire Talc to be used on the slide seals of my 5th wheel.
Since using this product for that purpose I haven’t had a problem with the seals sticking when extending my slides.
SAFBUYS –
This is the only talc to use to keep RV slide-out seals supple. No corn starch. I’ve used it for 5 years and my motorhome slide-out seals are soft and pliable.

Finding talc that is actually talc and not corn starch is so difficult these days. I used to use baby powder, because it had the least fragrance. This is fragrance free and actual talc awesome! It says it could irritate your skin on the can, but I assume that is just the lawyers talking. I have sensitive skin and have had no issue with it under my arms or on my dainty parts. The holes in the top are more appropriate to the amount you might dole out to dust an inner tube before install, but I just put three holes open at a time and am careful and it works fine.
