Because the manufacturer uses the incorrect type of rubber for the diaphragm (it’s to thin) they have removed the return spring that exists in the OEM version of this component. It component does still function as intended but the spring has been removed during manufacturing to prevent premature component failure due to the incorrect choice of rubber type for the diaphragm.
