Very loose suspension. I feel every bump in the road with these. You get what you pay for. Was quick and easy to install, and cheap.
Adam –
Harsh ride quality. I feel every little bump. I should have just bought kyb struts and reused stock springs.
Dipo Olufemi –
Good product. Works fine.

Much better ride. Make sure to remove the clear plastic covers they put over the bolts to protect the threads. Make sure to properly torque down your nuts to keep down the rattling noise. I had never done anything to this extent before, and I was able to install these on my own. I gladly bought a pneumatic impact wrench to do the job. I still had more than a thousand dollar savings per car. Whooooa. Yeah, I’m from the south.

Relatively easy to install, with a buddy. It fit my 2001 Civic LX.
I don’t have one of those fancy “lift your entire car over your head” car lifts. That would have been great. I used a floor jack and jackstands.
It is very hard to get the bottom mounted if you don’t have help. If you have someone to lever down on the lower mount point of the car, while you wiggle it into place, it helps immensely. We used a long 2×4 so it wouldn’t mess anything up.
Watch a youtube video, grab a friend or family member, and save yourself several hundred dollars.

Great.

These Quick Struts were just the ticket to restore the ride quality in my Honda Civic. The price was good and delivery was fast and for a person with a little mechanical ability and a hand full of tools, the installation was easy. It’s funny how ride quality slowly degrades…so slowly that I barely noticed it until I was bouncing all over the place. The stock struts I removed and replaced were in terrible shape but now my car rides like it should. These Quick Struts are the way to go.

They work awesome, but the installation of rear struts is much trickier than I had thought. Would be great if the quick strut came with a brief paragraph explaining that while fully extended, the bottom on your car will appear to be misaligned with the bottom of the strut. The strut spring needs to be compressed in order for the bottom mount to align properly with the bottom of the strut. Without that explanation, I thought that I may have had the wrong part.
So if you order these, keep that in mind… you’ll need a coil compression tool to easily install. Otherwise you’ll need to seriously crank on a 2×4 to get your axle low enough to get the strut mounted on the bottom. And you’ll also need a screw driver to manipulate the bottom of the strut so the hole aligns with the mounting bracket on your car. If I ever have to do it again, I’ll definitely get the spring compressors.

Strut assembly installs quickly and easily in my 2001 Honda Civic. The only issue I had was I had to unexpectedly compress the springs to get the top plate alignment correct to fit in the car. Springs are a little stiff as I cannot bounce the rear as I was previously able. Impact wrench is helpful, but not necessary to take off the old struts.
