  • REDUCES SAG UNDER LOAD — Ideal for occasionally hauling or towing varying loads; heavy gauge, calibrated coil spring reduces sag when loaded up to 1,200 lbs. (capacity limited by suspension, tires and transmission; see owner’s manual)
  • EXCEPTIONAL HANDLING — Tuned specifically for each application, full-displaced valving automatically adjusts to road extremes to provide ride consistency
  • CONSISTENT RIDE — OE all-weather fluid contains special modifiers to handle extreme temperatures and PTFE-banded piston helps reduce friction between the piston and pressure tube to enhance responsiveness to changing road surfaces
  • LONGER SERVICE LIFE — Self-lubricating fluid seal retains gas and reduces excessive friction against the piston rod to help reduce premature wear while heavy-duty nitrocarburized rod delivers long life
  • IMPROVES PERFORMANCE — Nitrogen gas-charge maintains tire-to-road contact for improved ride and handling by reducing aeration and shock fade

  1. Dennis Shattuck

I am very happy with smooth ride from my new shocks. Easy to install and great price for the product. Also, fast shipping.

  2. Bob Del Ponte

Replaced some Monroe or Gabrial heavy duty thinking these would give better ride support when loaded. Never tested them loaded, as they bounce far to much when unloaded, which is how most people drive 90% of the time. Can’t say I tested with a load as I couldn’t get over the horrid ride they provided long enough to carry something. Installed on a 1964 Chevy pickup 1/2 ton, with new springs all the way around.
Made the entire drivability VERY INPREDICTABLE. Especially on a hot rod where unpredictability during acceleration is never wanted. The Monroe HD are real stable and predictable.

  3. Hector Tan

Good product, not firm, smooth and comfort shocks for cj rear.

  4. Mike O’Connor

These fit perfectly on my 1964 C10. They have done exactly what they claim to do. My Chevy can now handle a load while maintains its rise height. I can safely tow my camper now. I installed these on all for corners and notice a small increase in ride height (maybe 1/2 inch) and a slightly firmer tide than stock. Big improvement overall. I’m very happy with my purchase.

  5. Dongheon,Lee

I install a set on my 1950 plymouth. The shocks that were on the car might have been the OE ? After the install i set the car back to the ground and my car now sits about 2 ” higher. These are a heavy duty shock and are worth the money and ease of install !

  6. Bill

Quality was excellent, unfortunately did not fit my classic car as stated.

  7. Pete

Just installed these shock absorbers on my 1970 Chevy C20 and like other reviews what a difference. I took it for a drive in different terrains and what a difference it made compared to what I had before. They were pretty easy and straight forward to install it took my about an hour to install both of them. I’m not a mechanic but I do like to work on my own cars and have a lot of tools which makes the job easy.

  8. Hector Tan

I replaced my 96 2WD Tacoma’s Bilstein with this 58567 for the added weight support it provides. It immediately raised the rear by 1 inch and adding 200lbs of sand only lowered it 1/4th of an inch. I’ve posted pictures of before and after install, side by side comparison with the Bilstein. Don’t get me wrong, the Bilsteins are still good and they will be my spare; I just want more weight capability without replacing my leaf springs. This reciew is after 2 months of installation, and ride comfort has not been affected.
An added bonus is they are Made in USA.
