I had to replace one in my 1929 Ford Roadster / 1946 V8 with three 2’s & all. / T5, open, fender-less—TOO LOW, on a notched, 1932 frame but like the look. My son who races sprint cars & IMCA’s removed the ballast a few years ago. MUST run a BALLAST RESISTOR.

My Corvette was missing, backfiring, and not running very well. I Checked the timing chain, rotor, cap, and anything strictly mechanical and everything was good. It seemed to be the dizzy. I looked around and had trouble finding a replacement for the Mallory type 57 electronic dizzy on my 327 SB. Choices were limited because of the tach drive requirement . I decided to see if there was a replacement electronic module and found the 609. Installed it and all is ok. Cool beans!
