I needed to strap my loose muffler and tighter but needed a grippy cushion for the metal bands. I drew a tight zigzag pattern on wax paper with this, let it set in a strip, cut the sides off the strip then set under metal band against muffler . It works well and doesn’t melt. Recommend over that red stuff.
