Todo bien

Good quality cables to add a battery switch to our boat with an outboard. These are not high amperage to use in a truck but great for smaller applications.

The exact gauge cables I needed for my home made solar generator. Thank you!
John Thompson –
Using #6 AWG, the lugs on these cables are way too small for the current these cables are designed to carry. Also, not sure the lugs are actually made of copper. Perhaps doubling-up on two copper washers might make up for the cheap lugs and may improve the electrical connection.

Worked great

Usually, cables are labelled with the gauge etc. on the cable jacket. I don’t see that on the cables I ordered. The 6 gauge cable that I am replacing seems a bit thicker and labeled as a 6 AWG for Marine use. I bought these to connect a 12v battery to in a carrying case that I connect a trolling motor. I’m not confident so I guess time will tell.
