This plate was good what I expected. But the antenna was missing the main body of the antenna.

This product was a direct replacement for the cable plate that was on my travel trailer. The cap had broken off of the existing plate and it had caused the threads to corrode slightly. This made it difficult to screw and unscrew my cable line. Make sure that you order some butyl tape as well to seal around the plate and protect from water damage.

Mounted on the slide out floor to wire a satellite, works but the cover doesn’t remain close when not in use.

I only needed the F-connector cover. I had to buy the whole replacement unit. The replacement unit does not come with any type of gasket or sealant. I reused the tar like substance that was on the old cable TV plate.

I like these. They’re attractive and durable. My only pet peeve is the lack of flat flange around the screw holes and around the edge circumference. When using butyl tape, I have to “fill” the underside cavity to get a good sandwich between the gland and the mounting surface. I never rely on joint sealant alone.
