Coil is not a direct replacement for an 1997 Artic Cat 440 panther. I had to fabricate a new bracket to be able to use it. Once installed it worked fine.

works great. Fits my 93 artic cat ext snowmobile. Seems to be a universal part. No boots on ends but with a little research on how to install them on you tube will make it a breeze.

It worked perfectly for my ’97 zr580. It did require ngk spark plug caps which I saw mentioned in another review. I don’t recall the description specifying that it comes without spark plug caps, but you will need them
