So I got these to do a full tuneup to my truck. I pulled them out and compared them to the originals I had. They were just a smidge longer, but I thought they would be fine. Once I got them in though, you could see they would not seat flush. I was able to crank them down, but it felt like i was applying undue pressure on them. maybe i got some that skipped QC? i was able to fire it up and they were working ok, just due to how they didn’t sit flush bothered me.

I’ve had 2x Prius that developedyy rough running that were fixed by replacing the coils. So, I keep a fresh set in my car so I can swap them quickly if needed and away from home.

These are incredibly easy to replace. I got these as part of a normal tune-up, replacing the spark plugs and the ignition coils on my Prius Gen 2. Made a huge difference in the way the car ran, much smoother and with better fuel efficiency.
Make sure you have a torque wrench to adjust the bolt that holds the ignition coil in, to the correct tightness without stripping them.
I’ve put on a couple hundred miles on the Prius with these coils, with no problems.

These are great coil packs, very close to OEM quality. Side-by-side, they’re a one-to-one match with the original equipment and, so far, seem to perform just as well. Installation was incredibly quick and easy, especially given the design of these cars. Finding the time to actually do the install was the hardest part! So far, I haven’t noticed any issues with idle, acceleration, throttle response, or fuel economy (if anything, fuel economy has improved over the old set). Driving dynamics are just as good as new.
Time will tell on longevity, but these have met all my expectations so far. I’ll update this review if any reliability issues come up.
For a bit less than you’d pay at the auto parts store and with the convenience of delivery, these are hard to beat. Highly recommended for the price!
