I picked this up for my husband. He really liked this wax a lot. He said it worked really well and gave a beautiful shine and gloss without a ton of effort. He usually uses paste wax but said after trying this, he might switch because this was so much easier to use. Granted, he did use a buffing pad attachment on a power drill but he said he was done a lot faster than he normally would have been with his usual wax. One particular thing he was pleased with is that this product didn’t discolor plastic on the car. With paste wax, if he got it on the black plastic around the wheel wells or the roof rack, it would leave a white mark that would eventually fade away. But this just rubbed right off and left no visible mark. He initially thought the price was high for this bottle, but after using it he said it’s worth every penny. High praise from my husband, to be honest. Highly recommend.

I have a 35 year old car with original paint, so I’ve tested a lot of different waxes over the years. It’s been garaged all it’s life, so the paint is well preserved. It’s a little dull in some places, but I don’t want to polish it, because my paint meter says the top surfaces are super thin. I’m just trying to extend the life as much as I can and relying on the wax to add more gloss.
The first thing I noticed about this wax is the lack of fragrance. There’s only a slight smell from the ingredients. It’s not a bad smell, and I can wax the car in an enclosed garage without feeling ill. The wax is quite thick. The consistency is between skin lotion and toothpaste.
This wax is very easy to apply and wipe off. It’s not as fast as spray wax, but it doesn’t require elbow grease, and doesn’t streak. It buffs off quickly with a microfiber towel. I always use more than the recommended amount to add as much protection and gloss as possible. It’s important to have several microfiber cloths handy, because a clean, dry cloth works best.
The gloss is pretty good when you first apply it. It’s not a deep, wet shine, but there’s a noticeable difference between the waxed and unwaxed surface. After an hour or two, the gloss and depth begins to fade. The difference between the waxed and unwaxed surface is less prominent. It still looks better than no wax at all, but I wish it had more staying power. It looks similar to a spray wax. A second coat the next day definitely adds more gloss and a bit more depth. The paint doesn’t looks as dry and faded as a single coat. If your paint is new, and looks good already, then a single coat should make it shine.
Slickness is good, and it feels similar to carnauba wax. It feels almost the same as a spray wax. I tried using both on my car, and the NRS felt just a tiny bit slicker and smoother. After a week, it still feels slick.
I like this product for its ease of use on old paint, but I’d like something with more gloss and staying power. It’s not as quick as my ceramic spray wax, and it’s marginally slicker, so I’m not sure if I’m willing to switch at this point. Currently, it’s on sale for $30. That’s cheaper than similar brands, so if you are looking for a graphene wax, then this is worth a shot, especially if you have a new car.

Sprayed this stuff on, let it haze a bit, buffed it off and suddenly my car looked like it belonged in a museum. Most definitely gave me +10 horsepower at least, not to mention improved aerodynamics, with all the slickery. Smells good, goes on smooth, wipes off like it owes you money, and water beads off like a rational conversation off my ex. Buy it. Thank me later.

I am a care cleaning fanatic. I hate seeing my cars dirty. Even my 2012 MB C-350 is cleaned regularly. I have been in the process of restoring that car back to its original glory over the last year and I have cleaned and degreased almost every inch of it. Since I am in the process of replacing the two passenger side doors, I decided to give this Graphine coating wax a try on them. If I am not happy with the results, well I will be replacing those doors anyway. Luckily I don’t have to worry about that since this stuff is fantastic.
It is a weird color for car care wax (gray) but I will not hold that against it. It has a very slight smell, not bad, but not cherry to me anyway. It has the consistency of suntan lotion 50spf (you know the one your mom would put on you when you were a kid, that never quite got rubbed in all the way). It wipes on easily and forms a haze that can then be buffed off easily. It leaves a nice shine and does have decent hydrophobic properties (water beading). I am not sure how long this will last, only time will tell. But if I can get 4-6 months out of it, I will be happy.
I am a big fan of Chemical Guys car care products and have been using the “Butter Wet Wax” and I love it. This goes on just as easy as that stuff does only difference is the Butter WW is not quite as thick.
This product is on the expensive side for car wax, but not outrageous like some products.
Bottom line.. So far, I am happy with it and would recommend it. I don’t have any tests with longevity yet, but if it should fail before A reasonable time passes, I will revise this review. To all those that like me still like to clean your own vehicles by hand and take pride in that fact.. Shine on, I think you will like this stuff…..

Great wax to bring a shine back to your car. I had used a power washer to wash my car and it really dulled it out. After applying this and giving it some elbow grease, I got that beautiful black beauty shine back. The quality is top notch with the best of the,

The product was described as a quick detailer spray on. I received a creme wax. That said, it’s a good wax. It goes on easy and leaves an excellent shine. I’m not a fan of scented detailing products especially fruity smelling ones. Fortunately, the cherry odor isn’t overpowering and dissipates quickly. The price point ($30) is too high for this product as there are several others that offer similar results for considerably less. This would have been a 4 star product if not for the erroneous description.
