This gas cap was a perfect fit for my Dodge Grand Caravan. It solved my Check Engine light coming because the old cap was letting fumes out. Because of the low price, I decided to try this before taking it to a shop- it couldn’t hurt to replace the gas cap on such an old vehicle. Much cheaper fix than taking it to a shop to pay them to fix it.

I bought this because a faulty gas cap was often listed as the most probable cause of the P0456 emissions fault code on my 2006 Grand Caravan. I thought I’d at least give this a shot before digging in and inspecting vacuum lines under the hood. It’s a perfect fit, and the lanyard that holds it in place fits the hole in the gas cap door just like the original did. It didn’t fix the problem, but for a few bucks I eliminated one possible cause.

Bought it in an attept to correct a gas cap code. It did not work for that but fit just like oem and the leash fit. I did return it though because it did not cure my code issue.
