These work very well and fast. They not only absorb water quickly, but they make great clean up towels as well. They are also just the right size to place one in each hand and wipe quickly through the whole car in under 5 minutes, changing towels as needed. I use up a total of about 6 towels on my midsize 4-door sedan.
There are always a few visible water spots which are remedied by gently passing one of these towels, slightly damp, over the general area, making sure that it barely makes contact with the paint (the paint must be kept cool and under a good deal of shade or scratches will occur; paint softens when it’s heated by sunlight making it more susceptible to damage; spraying water to cool a paint surface causes micro-fractures, leading to rapid deterioration of the finish; a car’s paint should be allowed to cool slowly on its own, under the shade before washing or in about 2 years the damage will reveal itself as a haze).
PROBLEM ENCOUNTERED AND SOLUTION
At first the towels would leave a lot of lint, since my car is new and the paint has a mirror like finish that caused the towels to stick.
So I put them through the washing machine and dryer a couple of times which virtually eliminated the problem. And they also don’t stick to the paint anymore, though I should point out that after washing the towels I started using Zip Wax Car Wash which might be the reason why the towels no longer stick.
Also, I noticed these towels have a really annoying factory label sewn into them. I wasn’t sure if they might scratch the car, so I tore them out, gently pulling them from the seams, letting them tear away like paper. To my surprise, the edge stitching remained perfectly intact.
WORD OF CAUTION
Make sure to set the dryer to a temperature that keeps the towels slightly warm to the touch. Excessive heat will harden the fibers which could possibly scratch the car’s finish! For what it’s worth, I set my dryer to medium heat for 30 minutes.

I own four black automobiles and am a stickler for the vehicles’ appearance. If you’ve ever owned a black vehicle you probably understand that any imperfections in the finish are magnified in black. Holograms, spider webs, and buffer swirls are very common. After removing all these imperfections from the paint surface I want to maintain that beautiful appearance as long as possible. Today’s paint finishes are not the toughest or most durable and even soft toweling can leave microfine scratches in the paint surface.
The Eurow Microfiber Double Density towels are the thickest and softest microfiber towels I have found and believe me I have searched all over the Internet. With a light hand they are great for applying and removing wax, carefully drying the finish after washing, and general detailing. The silk banded hem eliminates the scratching potential common in standard hemmed towels. They wash up well and should be dried in a dryer (do not use dryer sheets). I have been using these towels for more than a year and now have quite a stock on hand. They are a bit spendy but worth every penny. As with any fabric, they will lint a bit but it is really minimal.
I highly recommend these towels.

They are so soft and fluffy! Make sure to wash at least two times before use. They tend to leave sticky fuzzy lint everywhere. The lint does not come off easily from glass surface.

I have been using these for over a decade now, and they still look and work fine. Recently, I bought another pack of them, because, why not? Comparing the new to the old, the old lost some fluffiness over the years and washes, but still work as they should. And the feel and fluff of the new ones make cleaning fun and easy. Definitely a product worth having. Well-made, durable, can be washed hot, no bleeding, and very effective at doing its job.

Really thick, really soft towels.
I would use these for waterless washes, wax removal, or even was a wash media.
However, these towels do lint a lot. Perhaps it is due to their long fibers, but I noticed lots of lint on my car after I use these. They do not lint as bad when I use them when wet or damp such as when I perform a waterless wash on my car.
I use Blackfire Microfiber cleaner and dry on low heat so I am sure it is not “me” who may cause the linting.

I’m not sure how you mistake a helicopter for a set of towels, but that’s what I got.
I have to return the helicopter then wait for the refund to show, then I’ll see if I can re-order these towels.
We’ll see if this happens in the time allowed to edit this review.
Not happy so far!

EDIT: Ok, well they did promptly return the charge to my card and I re-ordered the towels. I have found them to be as useful as the other reviewers. I can dry my 45lb Australian Cattle Dog after a bath with a towel with out even needing to wring it out once. It really does hold a lot of moisture. As for detailing, I wiped down the interior of my very dusty pick up truck with a well wrung out towel whetted only with water, and it did a great job of pulling the dust off of the interior surfaces and holding it so it wasn’t re-deposited elsewhere during the cleaning process.
Despite the original shipping screw up, I would recommend them. I may even order some more later.
To give some explanation for the shipping screw up, when I was packing the helicopter back into the box for return, I saw a curled up bar code sticker stuck to the side of the box that read euorow towels in small print. Don’t know how that happened, but it still seems like someone would have caught it. I guess that’s what happens when humans are removed from the shipping process in this brave new world…
