- The Full, Half, and Empty position can be programmed.
- The“in-between” positions between F, 1/2, and E are calculated by the microprocessor and are linear.
- The“power on” gauge start position is selected from either the sender position or the programed position.
- The output is a npn pulse width modulated signal which may cause“buzzing”in undamped gauges.
- Mini Size 20(w) x 16(H) x35(L) mm

I followed the directions and still doesn’t work.

Works pretty well! I was a little skeptical, but it made my factory fuel gauge function on my ‘69 Mercedes with an LS swap.

Don’t waste time or money on this piece of junk.
Buy a good interface module from a name brand supplier.

Would not work at all. No amount of turning the calibration screw either way would change the needle on the fuel gauge. The instructions are really hard to follow as well. I had to get instructions from a website for a similar unit. But either way, doesn’t work. Save your money to buy something else that will actually work.

Not bad

Firstly, I did struggle with this for about 5 minutes only because I was impatient. After I slowed down and re-read AND FOLLOWED the instructions perfectly, it worked 100% as described.
Notes:
-This can be used for devices other than fuel
-I used this as a fix for a Trim Gauge that was reading backwards. Note that since this was designed for fuel, there is a tiny bit of a delay (the software is likely spending time averaging & filtering values) in the needle position, but it’s easy to live with once you know about it.
-When turning the adjuster inside the device, it may take a LOT of turns. Be patient and try turning it both ways until you see your gauge needle moving.
-When turning the adjuster inside the device… Once you find the range that makes the guage’s needled move, start turning the adjuster SLOWLY and precisely. Don’t turn it past the end! i.e. If you use the adjuster to get the needle the Full position on the gauge, don’t give it and extra few turns for good measure! That will muck up your results.
Lastly, I’ll note that I designed electronics, somewhat similar to these devices. My opinion is that this a good product at a fair price.

Only lasted a couple months before it stopped working.

Followed instructions for installation and unit simpl didn’t even power on. Tried different power sources to verify. Reached out to seller via email contact info provided by Amazon and never received any support. At this point I regret not spending the extra money to buy the Autometer name brand module. Don’t waste your money.

Without further instructions it may not be possible to calibrate the device for all three positions while gas is in the tank. The instructions only make sense if you can, during one calibration session, have the sensor moved to each of three positions to set them. That would only be possible if you had the sensor out of the tank, and even that would be inaccurate because tanks often are odd in shape. I tried to set it for exactly half tank by the measurement of gallons and touched the H(alf) button but the needle on next start goes to full with half tank. So far I’ve given up.
